With regard to your statement: "The AI have also massively improved from 24. Last year's game was probably the worst AI I've ever experienced. Their spatial awareness was zero with constantly locking wheels with you."
I remember way back in the late 90s / early 2000s when you would overtake the F1 AI down the main straight, only for them to ram you from behind at the next corner (Ha! Ha! Ha!). So, you had to overtake them and try to get a large enough gap before the corner. It was "hold your breath" stuff, as you waited for the inevitable SHUNT from behind 😁
I am glad to read that the AI is even better (more realistic) now 👍
