FEEDBACK ABOUT THE EA/CODEMASTERS F1 DEVELOPMENT SO FAR(incl. F1 25)

PART I

No, seriously.
The Direction team of the EA/Codemasters' F1 game development should watch this video if they take improvement seriously :
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GaGv7Hmn2Ss

PART II : My input for the console and PC version

Grave mistake to limit further platform release and focus on publishing only on
PC, XBOX series X and PS5. You should also include if possible the PS4 and the mobile
platforms(iOS, Android);

PART III : In case of a new mobile game development

I remind myself again of the F1 2016 mobile game released by Codemasters. It was a better
game than the current EA/Codemasters mobile F1 2021-2023 game which is not even worthy
to be called a simulator game.
If you want to effectively improve, please design again the F1 2025 mobile game with the following
in mind :
- recommended hardware specs : Adreno 506 GPU or equivalent and 2 GB of RAM (60 fps on medium graphic
settings, possibility to run on higher graphics if the GPU allows that to be possible, and the recommended specs for high graphics could be Adreno 642L ); this way the maximum number of
mobile devices ought to be able to run the game and it won't be limited only to players with
the most expensive smartphones;

- better setup for the cars : clear value of setup parameters on the UI, use a 0-100 value range for settings such as : Front/Rear downforce,  Front/Rear suspension firmness, Front/Rear
Antirollbar. Normal value range for suspension geometry(camber angle, front toe-out, rear toe-in).
Add Ride Height setup, Brake bias setup, and also tyre pressure perhaps.
picture reference for the 0-100 value range:

- better tilt control  settings : possibility to use accelerometer only(1), gyroscope only(2),
or a hybrid tilt method(3) relying on both for steering during gameplay; all 3 options available
in the game settings;

- realistic steering wheel animation and realistic enough handling;
moderately extended cockpit camera settings( FOV, vertical offset, angle, etc );

PART IV (OPTIONAL BUT VERY PRAISEWORTHY STILL ) :
extended visual customization for the F1 car
( valid for both mobile and desktop/console
platforms )

It is time, yes. It is time that you designed an extensive visual customization model for an F1 game
one which takes into account the following options for customization creativity considering it's
a video game:
nose + Front suspensions style(pushrod/pullrod), steering wheel style, front/rear wing style, engine cover style, sidepod style, rear suspension styles(pushrod vs pullrod), etc.

The options ought to be inspired from actual F1 car designs in real life, which
means, different types of cutout rear wing styles for instance. These options ought to
vary with how major one design is to the other, visually speaking.

For example, the MCL39 has the most aggressive front pullrod suspensions(1).
The RB21 has a midly aggressive front pullrod suspension(2).
The SF25 has the least aggressive front pullrod suspensions(3).
3 types of noses, 3 types of pullrod suspensions.

But for the 1st version of such a feature, flexibility can be limited.
So you can make the front suspension dependent on the nose style which will determine
whether they're pushord, pullrod and how aggressive that pullrod/pushrod design will be.

PLEASE EA/CODEMASTERS, with all the budget you get, do not develop bad F1 games!

  • Have you not seen the sales of game in previous years dropping like a stone.   If anything Codemasters budget has more likely been reduced.   The Development team probably isn't as big as you would think it is.  EA and pretty much all profit hungry corporations allocate budgets to games based on projected sales.    Higher the projections bigger the budget

    A self fullfilling profitcy - less sales > less $$ > less sales > rinse & repeat

    Given EAs history.  They would more likely shutdown Codies rather than invest more to develop the game
