Game crashes at start up on EA app

Hey everyone, if you’re having trouble launching the game through the EA app, please share the troubleshooting steps you’ve already tried so we don’t ask you to repeat anything. Also, please include your DxDiag when you reply.

Thanks for sharing the screenshot and DxDiag. Your system looks strong enough to run the game, so this may be caused by another background app or service interfering with F1 25 or EA Javelin anti-cheat. I can see several background/device-related apps and drivers listed in the DxDiag, so a clean boot is the best first test.

Please try launching the game after performing a clean boot. This will temporarily stop most non-essential background applications from starting with Windows, which helps us check whether another app, overlay, audio tool, RGB/controller utility, or service is causing the crash.

After that, please also try the following:

1. Run the game and anti-cheat as administrator
   • D:\F1 25\F1_25.exe
   • D:\F1 25\EAAntiCheat.GameServiceLauncher.exe
2. Clear the EA app cache, then repair F1 25 through the EA app:
   • Open the EA app
   • Select the three lines in the top-left corner
   • Go to Help
   • Select App Recovery
   • Choose Clear Cache
   • Once the EA app restarts, repair F1 25 and try launching it again
3. Reset the game settings folder
   • Go to Documents\My Games\
   • Rename the F1 25 folder to F1 25_backup
   • Then try launching the game again.
