General Feedback & AI

Hi!

First of all: F1 25 is a big step in the right direction. Driving is fun, the engine sound is great, and the graphics are fantastic.

However, what really bothers me is when fundamental things don’t work properly at release. It’s already much better than last year, but: You absolutely need to adjust the AI!
Because the AI is significantly slower in dry conditions compared to wet conditions, career mode is currently very difficult to enjoy properly. That’s a major issue that simply shouldn’t happen.
These are bugs that seriously impact an entire game mode – and that really shouldn’t be the case.

That being said, I really hope you’ll fix this quickly. I’ve seen several bug reports specifically about the AI performance in wet conditions – but there hasn’t been any response or acknowledgement from the team so far.
Could you please confirm that this issue is on your radar?

Thanks again – fix those few bugs and this will be the best F1 game I’ve ever played.

I have a bit more of a wish list, the game drops with very few nice liveries, helmets, emblems, etc. My Team is great, but falls flat there (why does the factory transition screen not show my emblem and colors?). The bugs are always fun for the first couple of months but the worst usually get sorted

But focussing on the AI. I always calibrate by using full TC and Brake Assist in GP mode in the dry to find my AI. While better than previous years, the AI is significantly faster in Saudi Arabia, Imola, Hungary, Netherlands, Azerbaijan, Singapore, and Qatar using this method. Curiously not Monaco this year.

The AI also appears significantly faster in the wet using this method, or perhaps it is the user car that is slower. If they gave us qualy and race practice sims that are accurate at each race we could calibrate each weekend (although we need a different solution for wet-dry races.

There are a few other wish list items like pit boxes moving season to season and maybe seeing where your driver ranked after 10 years (15 would be better) but I’d save all that for when they figure out how to get the AI more consisten or give us a way to turn weather off in My Team and Career modes.
