HELP with F1 World Series progression

But Doesn`t boosting just increase your level?You don`t get any improvement from boosting. Or am I wrong? Thanks for helping.

Let me try a better way of explaining the Tech Level:

The Tech Level is an overall speed rating for ***both*** your car and the AI opponents. Next time you finish a race, look at the leaderboard and you will see a Tech Level next to each AI opponent. 

In the menu to pick races, the number next to each race is the Tech Level for that race. Races with higher Tech Levels have AI opponents with higher Tech Level and are harder to beat. 

So, there are two ways of improving the performance of your car:

1. Increase the overall speed with the Tech Level so you can compete with AI opponents that have higher Tech Levels
2. Parts that have features like ERS efficiency also give you a boost in performance.

Does this make sense?

Turns out that Legendary parts can be in the 900 range...I think that is a change from last year. I'm really sorry for giving you bad information. If nobody else can give you a more definitive answer, I will have more time next week to advance to your level. Again, I'm really sorry for giving bad information.

I did buy Iconic Edition, but all my 1000 tech level parts are crafted green ones. 🤣

Thank you for this info! I'm surprised that you get that high with Green Uncommons. Unfortunately, I think I have to get there by crafting Legendaries because I have knee issues and need the higher bonus features like ERS efficiency.
