New game, same issues

Running Jeddah in F2 with a highly compromised aero setting because I was 8kms/hr slower than the AI cars in the speed trap. Lowered my wing settings so that I can still be okay through the first two sectors and managed to get within 6km/hr. 
Are the AI running Monza style aero setups at Jeddah or do we still have a problem with the AI being blindingly fast in a straight line like we did with the last two iterations of this game. Sadly I fear it’s the latter and EA has fixed nothing.
