Race engineer, Ai wet
The race engineer doesn't report P1/P2/P3... at the right moment. He only mentions the position when we're below the cut-off zone in qualifying (Q1/Q2/Q3). After finishing a hot lap, he should state the current position. The AI, although much improved, is still noticeably better in wet conditions compared to dry. Apart from that, great job overall. It would be nice to make the race engineer more realistic, as I mentioned."5Views0likes0CommentsAi.
So my General topic here is About the Ai and the overall performance, from track to track and mainly in the rain! From track to track does anyone else find an issue where they are ok and perfectly competitive on some tracks.. yet then on other.. i.e China the long right onto the main straight the traction and overall speed they have is crazy! and the likes of.. Miami same on the straights crazy overpowered.. then yet Monaco they seem i lil slow to what they once was! other tracks i find them crazy quick at ar Japan onto straights and Hungary to name a few! they are just overpowered and i race on 107 Ai difficulty so not slacking by no means.. just they are to inconsistent between tracks? Also the (Rain) they have incredible traction regardless of the track and they dont make enough mistakes... nor do they seem to wear out their tyres both in rain and slick conditions or.seem to struggle that it should be noticable! And the wordt trsck for this is how they will run 25laps on soft tyres at Spain for instance and hardly lose any speed.. on the softest compound is just nuts! Surely its not me no?29Views2likes1CommentF1® 25 - v1.06 - Vehicle/AI Changes Feedback
Hey everyone, Following the release of the v1.06 patch (the patch notes can be found by tapping here) we'd appreciate your feedback on the changes that have been made to racing against computer-controlled opponents (AI). Whilst all feedback and additional bug reports are appreciated on our dedicated Technical Issues & Bug Reports page, please keep replies to this post relevant to the questions posed below. Since the patch, have you noticed that have been able to maintain a similar top speed to AI competitors? Since the patch, have you noticed you are more competitive against AI competitors in wet conditions? If using automatic gears, are you happy with the changes made to upshifting in wet conditions since the patch? Do you have any other feedback on the changes that have been made when racing against the AI compared to previously? As a reminder, additional improvements to the experience racing against the AI are being considered. Thanks again for your feedback and support with F1® 25. - James / CM_TGK Community and Creator Manager @ EA SPORTS / CodemastersSolved6.1KViews11likes117CommentsAI issue when they are behind you
This is for the devs...... Just completed a full 57 lap race in Bahrain in career mode and encountered the following issue: As I had gone quite leisurely on the race practice programme, my team (Alpine) decided to massively under-fuel me so I had to spend most of the race managing fuel (fair enough). What was hilarious though was that as I was "coasting" into most corners, the AI cars behind me seemed to think I wasn't there and rammed me (doing no damage to myself but causing them to have to pit). This is how many times it happened........... Alonso x 2, Albon x 2, Bearman, Bortoleto, Leclerc, Hamilton, Gasly, Hulkenberg and Hadjar........ Was a fun race as all in all it caused chaos.........three red flags, three safety cars and an VSC....... However, I don't think this would happen in real life as I'm pretty sure these elite drivers know a thing or two about driving.........well.......most of them.28Views0likes0CommentsMulti-function display directly on the steering wheel screen in the game
This has been requested several times since previous games, but still nothing. Would it be possible for the MFD screen to be directly integrated into the in-game steering wheel display in cockpit view? This would make the game even more realistic. This way, we could, like real drivers, have all the informations on the steering wheel. For example, I did an F1 World event in which there was no on-screen display, including the MFD. It was very annoying because, since I often change my brake balance or differential, I couldn't see the settings I was making. I understand that this mode wanted to make the game realistic without the in-game displays in the corners of the screen because the drivers don't have them in real life, but the drivers have all the information contained in the MFD on their steering wheel. So why not us? Generally speaking, I only play in cockpit view for a better immersion, and having to take my eyes off the road to look in the lower right corner of the screen isn't realistic and it's annoying. Oh, I know, you're going to tell me that we can move the MFD display to the center of the screen above the steering wheel. But i don't like that. I want it integrated into the steering wheel and to rotate with it, not just an overlay above the wheel. Please, since players have been asking for this feature for so long, do it in a future patch. It shouldn't be very complicated to code. If not, at least think about it for the next game.15Views0likes0CommentsI haven’t received the F1 TV Pro free month code from my Iconic Edition preorder
Hello, I preordered the F1 25 Iconic Edition via the Microsoft store a few weeks ago. Now that the game is out, I was expecting to get an email with instructions on redeeming the free month of F1 TV Pro, however I have not received that. Also, everything online keeps saying it’ll appear in the Offers section of my EA account (which is linked to my Xbox account where I made the preorder) but that section is still empty. I have played the game a few times now and I have the Iconic Edition in-game rewards like the Lewis Hamilton cosmetics, but still no way to access that free month of F1 TV Pro. I tried contacting Microsoft support since I preordered the game through them, but they just directed me to EA support. However, I cannot find a way to email or chat with EA support. Despite their website saying there is a button you can click to start a chat on their How To Contact Support page, that button does not exist as far as I can tell. Any help from EA/Codemasters would be greatly appreciated. I’m enjoying the game so far but it is frustrating that one of the preorder bonuses has not been delivered yet. Thanks!Solved399Views0likes9CommentsAI very slow in free practice
The AI is very slow in free practice. Playing on the same difficulty as qualifying, I noticed that they set very high times in free practice; the last-place driver is almost 4 seconds behind the leader, while I'm the fastest, more than 0.5 seconds behind second place. And in qualifying, I'm between eighth and tenth. My teammate is 1.5 seconds slower than me in free practice, and we're almost tied in qualifying. I believe that only the teams' performance update can fix this. This game is broken58Views2likes2CommentsMore water spray in the rain
I think EA should definitely increase the amount of spray in rain a lot more!It will be so much more challenging and realistic and obviously a lot of player love that.If EA isn't doing it just because the Esports driver or some players doesn't like it,then i think they should just give us an option in the setting for the amount of spray, that will be good for both sides. Hello, Why is it that if I end a season strong, smartly managing my money, avoid reckless spending, and carry over a healthy reserve, I'm penalized for it? How does that make sense under any accounting system, real-world or simulated? If I enter the new season with, say, $85–100M in the bank, the game counts that entire amount as if it’s been spent for cost cap purposes. Which means I’ve already “used up” most of my $135M cap without spending a dollar. How is that even remotely logical? That’s not how a cost cap works in Formula 1, or in any business for that matter. In the real F1, the cost cap is based on expenditures, not cash reserves. Meaning that a team can have $500 million in the bank, and it’s completely irrelevant unless they actually spend it on regulated activities. The FIA doesn’t fine teams for having money. They fine them for how they use it. Which means EA should apply just a basic amount of accounting logic to this game. It punishes players for smart financial management. It forces you to dump cash for no reason, which isn’t intuitive or explained anywhere. And it flat-out breaks immersion when your championship-winning team is told it can’t spend what it earned without violating an artificial limit.31Views0likes0CommentsWill the fanatec SDK be implemented in f125?
Is there anyone here who would know if the new fanatec sdk for xbox to unlock button mapping and LED function is implemented? I have been waiting for so many years and fanatec is claiming it is coming soon. I would be very disappointed if for some reason EA decides to not implement.Solved2.3KViews14likes47Comments
