Ps5 offline.

Ps store says internet required but a ea developer on Reddit replied to a post saying you can play single player modes offline. I do have PSN account and initial boot up would be online to validate purchase etc , but I'd like clarification from an ea employee if possible if this is accurate or has the situation changed since this post . Live in a area were constant internet is not possible due to close proximity to ocean. Thanks.
