PSVR2 F1 25
Dear EA team, dear f1 community, Is there any possibility, any chance that you develop a psvr2 compatibility for f1 25? Even a slight possibility? Is this still on the table or there is absolutely...
Yeah, even just having the ability to do custom championships with Sophy in GT7 would be great. It is impressive what they've achieved with that. Proper competitive AI, who actually battle eachother and make mistakes. I don't know how F1 AI has been since 2020, but I remember it'd only make errors based on my actions on the track. You'd never see them going off or making contact with eachother further up or down the field from my position.
I never thought I'd see the day where a GT game has the best racing AI after years of watching it just form a big queue glued on the racing line.
From memory, the AI on the Grid games were fun to race against. The damage was certainly a lot better than the F1 games.
When EA asked if I wanted to be a Champion. You get choice of game as a welcome gift. I chose Grid Legends: Thought I'd play for a few hours and probably uninstall it: few hours turned in a few hundred. I'm not bothered if racing game is arcade, simcade or sim. If it's fun and exciting I'll play it.
The first Race Driver: Grid was my most played online game by far until they turned the PS3 servers off in 2011. Loved racing mini 3 race (?) championships with either the BMW 320 or Chevrolet Lacetti. The handling was great fun, the racing was close and competitive and even having the odd person going round trying to wreck people's races made it exciting as even a leader way out in front was never safe. Was a great game to get revenge on other people. You could even knock big cushioned barriers onto the track, like at the final chicane in Spa to give others some obstacles to deal with.
Only with GT Sport (by then with a wheel) and now GT7 (with wheel and PSVR2) have I enjoyed online racing again. Grid 2 and Grid: Autosport didn't capture the same fun handling model of the original Grid. I never tried Legends though. I wonder if I have that in my PS Plus library...
