PSVR2 support
Very sad to hear it won't have vr support for the PS5 people, sorry EA but im not buying it, we told you and you didnt listen..
I guess it's not technically confirmed that PSVR2 won't be supported. It could be a nice suprise announcement. Can a community manager confirm one way or the other? Or at least tell us now if it won't be supported if that is the case? Just because support is not listed on the PS Store, doesn't confirm it won't be. The Hitman VR support only got added when the PSVR2 update was released on Wednesday. I won't give up hope until someone from EA/Codemasters says it's not supported.
The will only confirm anything after it's been officially announced
I havnt kept up with PSVR2 for a while so not willing to get into it with you like I did last year. But AAA games are still not releasing yet with it so I think it's extremely doubtful this one will. But I'd be happy if it did for the PSVR 2 player base as I know there's a large chunk that do want it added
It's all good! Always enjoy a good discussion, whatever people's views are. I get there are people who'd rather see other things improved ahead of VR support. But still those fans get ignored too as F125 is picking playing circuits in reverse over other things requested.
PSVR2 is in a stronger place this year than last due to the price cut allowing greater adoption, plus a solid run of quality games coming out for it. Hitman VR launching exclusively for it yesterday (Quest has a different watered down version due to it's limitations) was a great boost. I bought it Day One. Admittedly I'm not a great assassin. I played a mission yesterday in a fashion show in Paris and ended up getting shot by security for tapping a guest in a tuxedo on the shoulder too many times.
I do believe a huge amount maybe even a majority bought PSVR2 just for GT7 so their is a argument the player base is there for another racing game . Any game that puts you in a cockpit. Be it a car or a plane is a big draw for VR fans.
