Qualifying AI is a bit of a mess (Career)

The AI in general is way off between different races and also on the same weekend with quali. I mean I play on 95 and didnt even get into the top 10 in China, but won the race in Austria (with a Williams) with almost the same balancing between the cars in terms of F&E. Also comparing to your teammate doesnt make sense at all. Sometimes Sainz is 5 houndrets off, the next race 1.5 seconds. Also its just random if the AI uses Overtake in Quali. Sometimes I dont use it and Im nowhere, sometimes I use it and Im P1. Doesnt make sense at all!

Yeah the balancing for the AI and between the AI and player seems borked. In previous games they would qualify somewhere close to their car's performance and you could adjust the difficulty so you qualified somewhere about right generally. On this so far my teammate is all over the place in quali so I can't get a difficulty that makes sense, am I supposed to be near our car perf or their 'good day' results.. annoying. 

The circuit specific changes have always been there but just adds to the annoyance. On the same difficulty I finished 7th in Saudi and then the next weekend at Miami I qualified 9th and finish legitimately 19th. They absolute rip on the straights there. Both just using default setups.
