Yes, I agree that the engineer has a special sense of humor. My favourite moments so far:
We're are in the last lap of the race. Engineer: "Tyre wear is lower than expected. Stay out a bit longer if you can." 😯
Car needs repairing after a crash in pratice session. Engineer: "Track is pretty quiet at the moment. We should go out there..." 😒
The engineer chat is nothing but repetitive drivel. Again it just demonstrates what I've been saying for ages. Lack of attention to detail.
