I’m aware of that setting, I don’t need the racing line itself just the braking points it provides. In regards to depth perception I’m referring to real life in comparison to a 2d screen. I guess I’m just saying I’m lazy and don't want to memorize all the braking points for 24 tracks. I want the racing line to be invisible except the exact point I need to hit the brakes.
Now I get what you are saying. I didn't try it, but I have a possible solution for you: there is a Braking Assist Cue for vision impaired players. Description from the game: "A cue to indicate the severity of braking required, a constant tone requires hard braking, while individual beeps require less braking." This feature can be found in Settings --> Accessibility Options --> Braking Assist Cue. Worth trying.
