Tyre temperatures and dirty air are useless..
As the title says tyre temperature simulation and dirty air are pointless if AI are not suffering equally to the player from it or the features are bugged out. Tyre temperature simulation has been part of the games before so why not reintroduce them if you already made them be affected by tyre temps? But having them always on perfect temperature after heating up is just missing the point, no sense for the player to enable carcass temps as there is no fun in handicapping yourself to struggle with something only you will struggle with.
With dirty air we saw in F1 24 that the AI was broken itself and dirty air was giving double slipstream, the dirty air itself caused some slipstream and then there is a seperate setting in the files for slipstream which in the end is a major reason for the DRS trains. But also the AI doesnt react much to the dirty air, even if cranked above the tiny amount thats in the game to begin with..
Point is you dont even need to bother bringing in fancy new mechanics or actually improving some simulation aspects if you cant make the AI work properly with it. You are breaking more and more the good basis that the game once had.
