Hi.
Hm, my experience with AI on PC (Steam) is different.
I am playing My Team and F2, both on Hard level (80-85), and drivers in both careers are quite unyielding.
I race wheel to wheel lot of times, often I need to back out because they are too aggressive and risk damage rather than giving up position.

Yeah it's odd how systems seem to always be quite different. I've seen many through the years via Codies forum. I've not played F2 yet but in My Team solo player career they've had a number of backout moments, though I do get a couple of dive bombs from AI too but nothing too extreme or damaging so far. But if I overtake on the inside they will always go wide and back off. They lock up a lot too which makes for easy overtaking, I love that they do human errors but it could do with a little reduction imo. I'm on PS4.

Xbox Series S player and wheel user here, I think AI are fine as they are now: not possible to always outbrake them like previous iterations and AI human errors like lockups that help provide a good single player experience in comparison to the boring AI on rails of previous years.
Their traction is too OP out of some corners like Miami last long straight and not penalised by cold tyres on the outlaps as much as we humans are though

I am also a wheel user and always use cockpit view with halo column. So my perspective is limited to what I can see from that position.
I also appreciate these little human errors like lockups or drifts when early on power, gives me chance to overtake.
And race is not boring, like you mentioned, in previous years when AI stuck to race line and didn't budge.
- P4st3l1ak4 years agoSeasoned Ace@CarystusGaming lucky you. I usually get a floor damage from AI drivers when they dive in. As I mentioned, they are quite unyielding on Hard level. Only few drivers back out. Alonso, Hamilton, Russell and Verstappen are quite aggressive 😉

I can't say anything about Ferrari AI drivers, they usually disappear beond horizon 😉

- P4st3l1ak4 years agoSeasoned Ace@Maverickgotold that happened to me in Miami with Checo, he turned into me twice in first corner, squeezing me out and damaging my left end plate (only first time, second time I didn't have any to damage 😉 )
