The F1 Laps calculator worked very well for me in F1 2021: https://www.f1laps.com/ai-difficulty-calculator/
For F1 2022, especially since we just got the 1.08 patch that states to turn the Diff up 5 notches, the AI Difficulty in the link above still works well but whatever number it gives you, just move it up 5 points. This is just until enough testing is done post 1.08 patch.
