Like I said on another post, I think with my discord group we can safely say that the issue is on at least engine upgrades, maybe more not applying to our car.
We did a test, where we made a myteam with a renault engine and one with a ferrari engine, other than that, same setup, same car upgrades, same teammate, 100Ai, no assist, short qualy
In qualy session:
With renault I did a 1:29:75 in barhain, 330 kph in speed trap
With Ferrari i did a 1:29:65 in Barhain, with 333kph in speed trap
I think the difference can be explained with me getting a better lap since I did ferrari after, and also engine caracteristic
Now for the real deal
Huklenberg did a 1:29:35 with renault
And a 1:28:4 with ferrari
Nearly one second faster, and this supposed performance increased is not present for the player
Something is definitely up with engine upgrades and maybe also other upgrades, they do not apply to the player car. And while our testing focused on myteam where the problem is the most obvious, it is possible that this issue in present in some way in other game modes.
@EA_Hux I have the same problem, I play PC career mode with Alfa Romeo team, without assists and level 90, the problem happens in all tracks, and it's not just in My Team, career mode happens too, it's clear to me that the problem is at the exits of the curves, the AI seems to have incredible traction and gains great distances of advantage right at the exit of the curve, they have an incredible speed recovery, and at the end of the straights it reaches a higher speed, even using DRS and overtaking mode is the AI without DRS I can't overtake, The problem is clearer when I come out of a low turn and soon after there's a big straight, like the exit of turn 16 with the Miami circuit for example, it's frustrating to play F1 2022, lots of bugs.
Please identify this problem and fix it.
