AI wet performance (Full wet tires)

Product: F1 22
Platform:Sony Playstation 4
Summarize your bug I was doing Qualifying in Silverstone in My Team and was a few tenths ahead of my teamate and when I Progressed to Q2 and the rain arrived, I was 1.5 seconds off my teamate.(for people who will say i am just bad in the rain i am actually more competitive in the rain than in the dry but now only on Inters)
What is your 16 digit Report Code? is not a crash
Which area is the bug/glitch in? My Team
How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
Did you have cross-play enabled? Yes
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Do a Dry to wet Quali and see the pace difference
What happens when the bug occurs? The AI probably have more grip.
What do you expect to see? To get the AI to be consistent in performance at every track and in every weather condition.

I do not have any screenshots

  • @KyllianVS I have the same feeling as you, when we have wet tracks, the AI seems to have a lot more grip, especially with heavy rain and extreme wet tyres. In these cases the AI is very fast and there is no way to compete with them.
  • @KyllianVS Yep came here to say just that, I just raced in MyTeam in Japan full wet race and the AI has NO loss of grip in corners, I played the replay and followed a few drivers in cockpit view... it's ridiculous, they race almost as if it was dry condition.

I've never got overtaken by my teammate so far in the season, then he overtook me in Japan on lap 5 like if I was nothing, pretty much confirmed it for me.

@Rgramiscelhi It is actually ridiculous, i am in spa now and was in contention for pole in Q1 and 2, wet Q3 and i am 2 seconds off. on the inters now aswell
  • As a short term solution i have noticed they are from about 1.8 to 2 seconds faster so recomment lowering the difficulty for wet sessions by 18 to 20.

Yup… same here. AI are very quick in wet conditions.pace is almost equal to dry set ups. And also fuel burns quickly regardless of lifting and coasting into corners. Fuel saving in f1 2021 was far better
