I know it’s probably unlikely to happen but would personally love to see a more accurate representation of what the official F1 teams see on the cars main steering wheel display screen?Here’s some examples…Full credit goes to ‘Driven By Data’ on twitter (@DrivenByData_) for putting these together. It’s the attention to detail for things like this that I’d personally love to see represented in the official game after many many years of the generic display in game that’s the same across all teams. @stephensmattlee That would be so cool actually instead of what we have which is a generic display. It would be nice if you could switch between them by swapping which steering wheel you can use

I generally run without the HUD (with rear view mirror still enabled), so it would be rather useful for me if I could get more information out of the steering wheel.My biggest wish would be to add notifications of flags to the display itself, as it's sometimes hard to distinguish between yellow flags, VSCs and Safety Cars just by looking at the marshals' posts... but that is one niche issue, isn't it? 😅

@stephensmattlee totally agree the likes of project cars which had the ability for you to change the screens was really cool and immersive. as soon as i saw the screenshots and saw the same old blank at least to me display was annoying

@Alastre Yup I agree. I even compared one of the screenshots of Spain with the new corner to the exact same angle in F1 2021 and visually it looks identical, bar the changes to the corner itself. Was hoping for at least a few tweaks and refinements but if those screenshots are representative of how F1 22 looks then it looks like the graphics department took a year off and did nothing between developing both games.On the topic of the steering wheel display graphics, yup going by the screenshot they’ve released it looks like we’re going to be getting the exact same as last year and F1 2020, with the same unrealistic display for every team, plus the same ugly steering wheel for the MyTeam car again this year too.Instead of jamming the game with pointless cosmetic crap like sunglasses and watches, not to mention the dumb podium animations and awful victory soundbytes, …why don’t they give us things that would be more useful such as alternative steering wheel designs, alternative front wings, alternative sidepod designs (much like the differences between all the teams this year). I personally would enjoy unlocking more customisation options like that, but can’t say I’m enjoying being faced with unlocking more unrealistic asymmetric livery designs and pointless YouTuber liveries that you can’t even adjust at all.

Can we please get more realistic steering wheel graphics?

Now that we will have VR in the game it would be amazing to have realistic steering wheel info so that we can feel like we are in the real car

@Neomo I wouldn’t say lazy. Maybe they thought no one would mind or it could be restrictions from FOM (highly unlikely)

@stephensmattlee Well that would be amazing.. But look at the first phew screens we have.. You could clearly see that steering wheel dash is probably the same again and again... Plus no new graphic engine as well..
