Can't continue co-op season (stuck at season break)

Summarize your bug Halfway through co-op seasons, there's a "season break." My co-op partner and I have made it to this break and can't pass through it. Gets stuck "waiting for player" when we try to start the season break and we can't get passed or leave that screen. Even if we restart the game or restart our consoles. It's happened when I've hosted the season, when he's hosted the season, in difference season lengths, and pretty much anything we can try. We can never get through to the Belgian GP. Always stuck on the same spot.

How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Play a co-op season through until the season break. Doesn't matter how many races it takes to get there.
What happens when the bug occurs? Stuck on "waiting for player" after we both choose "start season break." Can't even leave that screen without hard restarting the game.
What do you expect to see? I expect to move passed the season break and onto the Belgian GP.
