You caused this by not giving full context in your first post, and you still haven't actually given any information on why you think a particular player may be cheating so I'm not really sure how you expect anybody to usefully comment.
If it's your league you can make providing footage mandatory, although what will be available will depend on platform, and it won't necessarily make all possible cheats apparent anyway.
One place where cheaters definitely need to be combated is time trial. We all know how the esports drivers can produce ridiculous times in time trial, and I accept that. But the cheaters there produce even more ridiculous and unrealistic times, sometimes even on full assists, and even say that they're cheating in their handles (e.g. F1Cheats).
As for online, that's definitely a major can of worms, and you really need good evidence, especially in league racing.
- ScarDuck143 years agoLegend@P4st3l1ak TC plus auto gears is bizarre, I posted moaning to the Greco dude.
Auto gears change up or down when you reach a required speed and not the revs🤷♂️
With Full TC added accelerating out off slow corners. Cuts your speed but not your revs. It’s hilariously stupid with full wets and rain. Revs screaming whilst they are bouncing on the limiter whilst the car crawls along.
Gear changes auto or not change when hitting the desired rev limit.
When strong a nanny TC system is actively working it reduces power and revs.
However as the meta is higher gears I asked David if instead off. Cutting he revs still let the gears change up as it would quicker help gain traction and so less time TC gets to suck the life out off the game - P4st3l1ak3 years agoSeasoned Ace
@ScarDuck14 yes, I aware of your request to Sir David 😉 I just wanted to point out that there are assists and elements that might be seen as hindering performance or make car feel sluggish. And that it doesn't have to be cheating per se 😉
But I also noticed one thing when raced with my nephew online. When we both were using cockpit view, he used to be slower than me. However, he switched to TV Pod and he's faster than me now 😉 But I don't mind, I am sticking to cockpit with halo, just for sheer feeling 😉
- ScarDuck143 years agoLegend@P4st3l1ak I think everyone would prefer to use cockpit view. But tv pod is easier to see where your going and what’s around you. When All the Elites all use it in Esports tells you everything

Just sat through England's performance against the USA whilst on holiday in a part of the world where the game didn't start until midnight so I need to vent at something!
TV pod isn't cheating but, and I have been banging on about this since 1892.....or whenever it was introduced....it should 100% be classed as an aide. The whole idea of TV pod is to make the game easier for newcomers who have yet to build up the skill to drive properly - just like any other aide. The whole idea of using TV pod is ludicrous. If you can't drive using Cockpit then go and play Mario Cart!
OK....rant over. It is 2:45 am here and I am off to bed. In the morning I will awake feeling refreshed and will return to being my usual happy, joyous self. 😇
I'd love to see cockpit view being enforced for eSports.
I use cockpit view as it's a more immersive and enjoyable experience but I could definitely be quicker without.
Thankfully no late night required for me to see the football!
Totally agree. It would be nice if someone from eSprts explained exactly why TV pod is allowed and why Cockpit isn't mandatory.

I actually thing you guys are going about it the wrong way; I personally wish the FIA would force the teams to change the seating arrangements of the drivers so their heads and bodies are mounted where the T-pods are.
That or a periscope system so that they view is of the T-pod.
I think I'll email Pat Symonds with my ideas.
