Codies please let the Ai run free

Ok finally got rid off my daughter and started a new my team career with better ai or is it?

Got my conspiracy hat on so I could be talking complete nonsense.  

Ok Only raced Bahrain however it’s a good track to see how the ai races. Should add My team I started as a mid team and 4th ranked team going into the Race but my team car is still a fat lazy dog.   So I don’t expect to match ai acceleration however 

Ai is definitely slower.  Painfully slower.   Ai was already slow through the corners now it’s allmost goes at walking pace.  But  Ai speed out off slow corners hasn’t been fixed.  Because it’s now just comical.  As  the latest quick sticky plaster fix.  Has just made the problem more exaggerated.    Cause now they are slower  into slow corners.  But still rocket out off them.   And perfect example going into turn ten.  Perfectly judging my speed to the ai cars speed infront.  Which isnt easy.. hands up flashbacks were used lots  due to them scrubbing way tp much speed.   But as soon as ai accelerates out off turn ten by the end off the straight it’s gained up to half a second.  Straight line speed isn’t a issue. I was shocked as my top speed for first time ever reached 210mph on the main straight.  But it’s no good cause the gap they get bursting out off the corners.

Then just to annoy me some more since pit stop the gap to the car  behind  was gradually increasing every lap  a tenth here a few tenths there so going into the last 2 laps I’ve got good tyres undamaged and all new parts.   But as ever ai gets a boost ands cut over 3 seconds out off my lead.  

So to me it’s obvious the game forces the ai to act in certain ways at certain times to give us a more exciting race.  But it’s not exciting when you know your not racing the ai but game excitement mechanics  .  But it’s ridiculous.  The way I see it. Codemasters Ai is awesome so it’s code must be complex.  Adding excite mechanics forcing it to bend its coding I think makes it lose its 💩.
