I've found this folder in the F1 22 game folder on PC. Does it mean something for a future update?

Are the F2 cars still the 2021 models? If so the folder might be for these.
I don't think so, because there is the appropriate folder for F2... we'll see...
Maybe they figure best option to get everything better balanced is to port in last years cars and add this years skins to them🤷♂️😀
Cause I’ll admit it’s trying my patience: after Every new patch take the car for next myteam race and everything is pretty much as is should… think woo hooo it’s fixed it’s fixed. Get to next race and car has all old issues plus one and I can’t even pace practice programs on 60. Whereas previous race cars I won and was 2 seconds a lap faster against 80ai which using last years method that equals 100ai. Ill endure for sure. And got three dual sense pads so hopefully I won’t throw all off them against the wall before it’s all fixed.😂

From the two pictures it looks like there are folders for both 'F1 2021' and 'F2 2021' though, so the question remains what the first one is for. Possibly just leftover from development work where they maybe began with the F1 2021 cars? I can't personally see any real appeal of having F1 2021 cars added back into the game.
One of the downsides of playing on console is I'm deprived of nosing around in folders like this, although the physics data discussed elsewhere is obviously far more interesting!
