When the powers that be say he is legit because they checked and he's clean. Then someone says there are other ways to cheat they are not being skeptical anymore they are saying no matter what ANYBODY says he's cheating.
Here in the US you have to have a search warrant to do what they did to him making this a criminal investigation here.
I have to assume there is some law protecting his rights in Holland surely for his own saftey.
@BadMayh3mMeaning that George something is among the "powers that be"? And on Twitter, no less?
That's exactly my point.
- BadMayh3m3 years agoSeasoned Ace@mariohomoh Mr. Morgan had said already its EA/CM and Esports who have to do the investigation.
He is just relaying the info its been done. - mariohomoh3 years agoHero (Retired)@BadMayh3m And why should I take George Morgan word for the doings and decisions of EA/CM? He's no EA or CM staff. He's the current F1 eSports narrator, a third party collaborator unfit to relay any official word.
Again, my point all along from that longer post of mine a few hours ago.
It's a sport and an organization in their infancy, still mangled by unprofessionalism. This - BadMayh3m3 years agoSeasoned Ace@mariohomoh Friend you bring up the best point I've seen so far....
Why haven't EA/CM released a PUBLIC statement clearing this all up?
It is their fault this has gone on for this long since they are the only ones who can fix this.
What are they waiting on? - Hempyjr3 years agoSeasoned Ace
My 2 cents on this allegations from my experience is that the delay about an official statement means that something is not right with at least one person, not necesarily with the streaming guy even tho he is like the biggest suspect and which of course he has a lot to lose now cause a lot of people are tagging him a cheater. If everything was right, i think an official statement like "Yeah he is working with us to see if somebody can cheat" or something, was coming in 1 day or maximum 2 days to clear their/his reputation.

What are they waiting on?Partly there is the issue that I believe @mariohomoh has been referring to in terms of there being no clear structure in terms of who is responsible for what and who may actually be in a position to 'officially' comment re. the last official eSports season (as distinct from the likes of PSGL/WOR etc). Then there is the question of what could be said. Acknowledging the current unresolved concerns would from EA's perspective likely draw attention to the situation but not resolve it. It's hard to see how this could be retrospectively resolved to everyone's satisfaction to be honest, and for next season making the official eSports a LAN event really feels like something that must happen to be honest.
Any official update re. league racing would likely to be of the 'we're working on it' nature I suspect.
I would absolutely like to see official statements acknowledging the concerns and discussing what is being done to address them though.

This seems to be blowing up now across YouTube. Non F1 Sim racing channels are now talking about it….

@ScarDuck14There appears to be a similar issue in ACC which has come to the forefront in the last few days, so there's quite a few eyes on this problem.
I'm not sure if Kunos have addressed it yet

@TotosHeadphonesFrom the videos I’ve seen they haven’t.
Weirdly it’s got me intrigued in the escape from Tarkov cheat saga. I’ve never even. Played the game. But wiggle that killed Tarkov was awesome video
