- mariohomoh3 years agoHero (Retired)@NoManuelAutoonly There are more casual racing games out there. And you can always increase your assists and/or decrease the difficulty.
What you can not do is expect to have the same success as someone who knows what tyre temperatures do. I would like to know your impressions regarding the new patch, especially with the new driving physics.
Just 2 simple answers, I like and I don't like it
Please mention if you use any simulator (Logitech, Trusthmaster, Fanatec, etc.) or if you use a controller or keyboard.

If you have an issue with tire temps, you can always enable surface temps only and try that as well.
But it's better to learn how tire temps work and why you are overheating. That's exactly what I'm doing now, learning more about the game
- @NoManuelAutoonly It’s not difficult, the devs already told everyone what to do - just keep tire pressures at or near default pressures. No engineering degree required.
For those complaining about the AI speeds now being different, why don't you notch them down a little?
Seems confusing to me to complain about something you can actively change. Or are we all too proud to be notching the difficulty down a bit?
- @DrJambo It's quite obvious... If you have not been informed of the issue, like 80% of the players or are in the middle of the GP week-end, there is no way out. I did not checked the boards until this morning and realised the patch has messed up. I retired at my 2 last GPs of Myteam season 1 last night, I was 19th / 20th (probably the real value of my car) so I did not think specifically about the patch creating issues. Now it's really obvious (I thought it was my car being terrible in Mexico/Interlagos) but I lost 2 GPS ... rushing towards the end of the season to catch up the other teams...
Now obviously I'll change the IA. My friend I am in a racing league with hundreds of drivers on wheel, with the topmost guys in the top 500s in the TT leaderboards, and I haven't heard any of them say FFB kicks in "after" any incident. Without any response from your input you'd never know if you're going to stay on track or send your car to Narnia. Pad players are heavily dependent on vibrations because we don't receive any feedback from steering unlike wheel players who have FFB/Direct Drive.

Adjusted networking session searching so that NM14 errors are less likely to occur
Yay I mightt be able to do a weekly event now.

I'm in a few different leagues on PlayStation and people on PS4 have been having issues with audio when the formation lap is on. On a PS5 I haven't noticed any of these issues but it's bad enough that all of my PlayStation leagues have disabled the formation lap entirely until it's fixed.
Is this issue something you all are aware of and investigating?
