Portimao and other upcoming DLC tracks should be available in all modes, not just grand prix / time trial / multiplayer. Please make them available for career modes as well.

Yes, the game should have been released with 70 on day 1, but you're overstretching it by a mile to argue that a change like this is undesirable for catching you "unaware".That's probably brought up every single race by the commentators when they need to fill in the silence with "trivia".What's keeping you from disabling tyre sim in short 5 lap sessions? If you had to bring up notepad and edit a config file every time than yeah, what a hassle. But it's in the menus.Yes, there is a really obvious difference between you and me, mate. I'm a petrol head, I follow the sport and I play simracing. F1 and ACC both. And I know my way around a menu.I don't play quick 5 lap casual sessions, but even if I did even this old monkey here could easily learn the trick of toggling an extra option in the session settings.And anyway, it's 70ºC for everyone, not only you. If you still want proper simulation in a quickie 5 lapper, it is still a level playing field.

So a new patch and still no fix for automatic gearbox this makes the game unplayable for another few weeks for me till the next patch for everyone saying just switch to manual im a casual player and i play on controller for fun manual gears on a controller is pretty hard and i dont want to play it like that but automatic gearbox is broken (shifts up too late most of the times in gears 6 7 8) i hope this really gets fixed soon because i cant play

@hesterdelt needs a little bit of checks yes, but we are working on it.

@MaegnysHe just gave you a reason why. To get the tyre temps up to their optimum working range. Otherwise you'll start the race straight out from the tyre blankets' temperature, which is 70ºC.

If you don't want to bother with the simulation of official sport like this, just fire up your settings for the session and disable the tyre simulation.

What else do you want from the game?
If you're doing 5 laps, point and shoot quick races, not even bothering with formation laps, then all this simulation of tyre temps and wear and degradation certainly are not for you. No judgement, this short format it is there because it is fun for some people. But it makes no sense to complain about it when you're not setting the game up properly for it.
You can not have your cake and eat it too.

@mariohomoh If this was planned, can you tell me how people will race each other in ranked lobbies? I want stable, finished game since I pay a lot of money to this game. Every year it's coming with all these bugs and they are using us as subjects.

We are already making formation laps in league races, this is not the case for 5 lappers since it's just for quick racing.

@mariohomohIt's so obivious that you are casual player tho. I am racing in leagues for 3 years, and I race with my friends in 5 lappers to have fun. If you disable tyre tempatures, it's completely different than normal racing. Even in 5 lappers, tyre tempatures are important.
Yet again, this have not been planned for sure since ranked lobbies are the same. So, before defending codemasters, show some respect. I am playing this game since 2019 and every year the game went in negative way.

@The OnlyMailive I don't understand people who complain that Portimao and China are not in the career/my team.
90% of players focus on time trial and multiplayer rather than some ridiculous career that gets boring after 1/2 month. EA and CM have been doing a lot of things wrong but they are improving it over time so I will take them to their defence this time and they have done a very good job. You should be happy that there are extra tracks and not criticise them

It's so obivious that you do not know the importance of tyre temps, even in 5 lappers if you go so hard on tyres you cannot the race against a good rival. So, it's important to know how to push your tires to the limits. If you turn off this option, it's just Time Trial.
And do not talk to me before knowing me. Anyways, this will change for sure, and then you will see this was not meant to be like this, it's just another ignored situation by Codemasters.

@pawel567 Numbers say differently.. Most of the players - according to Codemasters numbers are still playing career mode over all other modes..

There are lots of reasons why more tracks for ALL modes would be one of the best things they could do, which doesnt mean they are allowed to nor have the work time to do so, but its understandable why people that almost only play career mode dont like additional content not being in career mode!

@Maegnys Sorry, hard to take you seriously when you act up so flabbergasted for the game catching up with the sport with a rulling publicized in what, October of 2021? And with this demanding of respect when you don't treat others with the same.

The importance of temperature isn't the topic here. You're the only one preaching it like others didn't know the same gospel.

For short ranked lobbies, the starting temps will be the same for everyone, I'm sure with all the accrued experience of playing this franchise since 2019 you'll get a headstart over the casual competition that dare wet their feet in the dangerous waters of ranked sessions.

In all seriousness though, yes the game should put all players on flying lap starting temps for short ranked sessions. It's a crammed up session that deviates a lot from what the game is trying to replicate, so it needs a long list of concessions to be made for it to work properly.

But that's just a slice of your complaining pie. Temps starting at 70 is no "joke", it is F1. And that's widely known for a while now 🙃
