@DavidG53 The trigger feedbacks in all platforms (ps5,pc, xbox) are giving no feedback to the rear tyres of the vehicle. If you go back to last years game, you can feel it in the triggers when the wheels were going to spin. In this years version the tyres are spinning and there is little to no feel in the triggers of the pad. This makes traction almost impossible for TC off players. Is there a fix coming to revert back to having feedback in the rear of the car?
- BadMayh3m3 years agoSeasoned Ace@mariohomoh The problem is the game never did this before for 5 lap races. Also the tire temp model is messed up which makes this twice as bad.
Rain races show how messed up they are......lower tire pressures for traction equals lose temps. Raise pressures equals lose traction.
This needs to be fixed asap imo.
Formation lap will not fix this problem. - @bigbambino27 A revert is not possible because is a completely different system. I have raised it internally.
@DavidG53 Is there any timeline to when the overreving of the auto gears will be fixed??? Its been more than a week and I can't even play the game because of this. I understand that you guys are busy but such a game breaking bug for console/auto gear players shouldn't take a week or more to resolve. Could it be fixed by this Friday?
Thanks for being so interactive with the community.
@DavidG53Will the 3D models steering wheels of the Mercedes and aston martin be updated to match the real life spec in the upcoming sports update
They had updated their steering wheels last year in real life but it was not reflected in 2021, but this should at least be reflected in f1 22.
Here is a summary:
-top of the wheel bumps for Mercedes
- Ferrari-style protrusion in the middle portion instead of being the same thickness throughout for Aston martin
Below are photos that show the issue.
@DavidG53 Here is better screenshot where the differences are highlighted.
Green for Merc
Yellow for AM

- @DavidG53 thank you, what about the 3d model steering wheels?
- @6mi0sv8kl49l I am not the best person to ask that question. 3D and art have quite different tools than mine, and I am not prepared enough to answer that.
