Hey, Simple tip:If you are not being able to compete against AI because they are faster than you... Maybe, the AI level that you are using is too high for you. And this is a different game than last year one.Most of the complains that I read could be solved if you LOW THE DIFFICULTY LEVEL.Start low, find your balance checking your team stats, your team mate level and you will find fun.This game is incredible. Perfect? Off course not. People is trying that the GAME GETS ADAPTED TO THEM. You will be happier if you try that YOU ADAPT TO THE GAME.Cheers and have fun guys

@PJ-THE_bot-II Yeah, but players that do 100% distance want the actual f1 rules to be followed, by allowing us to choose which tyres we take through qualifying and to the race. On 2021, there were 2 sets of mediums available in qualy and race, this year there’s just the 1 available making for extremely boring strategy options. Take a look at f1 over the past 2 years, it’s become clear that 2 mediums/ 1 hard, or 1 medium/ 2 hards have been the main strategies used. Only on occasion now the soft tyres play a big factor in the race itself, and this is only when the hard tyres are too hard or it’s too cold like Hungary was for them, plus fastest lap if there’s a big enough gap behind to go for fastest lap.All in all, which ever side, EA or CM, decided to remove a set of mediums from the qualifying pool made a colossal error.

When is the patch coming where we can finally use 2 Mediums and 2 Hard Tires in Tires. ? The developers have failed even with the small things

@angelfont9 pure per me... da quando ho fatto l'aggiornamento sempre stesso messaggio (PC) provato risoluzione dei problemi, aggiornamenti GPU, WINDOWS,provato tutto ma niente... PIÙ O MENO mi rasserena il fatto che sia capitato anche ad altri almeno non devo preoccuparmi che sia un problema del mio PC

@antti_syrj605 He’s you can. You have to look at your own lap times then you are able to cycle through each driver from there. On PS4/5 you use L1 R1 so whatever the equivalent on your pad/wheel

Thank you! My Team is playable for me now! This patch fixed the A.I. almost perfectly!. Now when I get overtaken its usually because of some stupid mistake I made. And on straights its competitive. I even saw 2 A.I. cars ahead of me bump into each other and one spun out where as before they were perfect racers. Thanks for the effort in fixing the A.I. The game is now playable for me!

I wouldn't call it playable until tyre allocations are fixed.

So they've removed the option to just click on the driver from race director?

Yes it has been addressed, I am making passes down the straights again and at the difficulty i was running in f1 21
So just an update guys after the patch i have been able to up the difficulty rating from 76-96 and still be competitive in season 2 my team in the mid field

@LuckyNico92 At least 2 out of the 3 "problems" you raised, are wrong. Adaptive AI it's not working like that, probably you must be new to F1 games. Adaptive AI it's working strictly in the race, if you are too fast the AI will be faster to catch you or if you are too slow he will became slower so you can catch him. The second one with front wing damage, depends how much damage do you take, if it's only slightly and it's still on green the car won't be so affected, if it's yellow or red it's normal to be affected. You guys raise more and more "problems" that are not there. Lower the AI, reduce damage, do whatever suites you but stop complaining about fictional "problems" because you can't play. I guess you are the old Nico from the old codemasters forum. You forgot to complain in your post about last year overtake from the last lap.

There are still issues with AI difficulty level inconsistency on differnet tracks in career mode. In Bahrain I am equal to my teammate while in Jeddah I am 0.4-0.6s behind him and then in Australia again I am equal to teammate. This needs to be fixed as it is now making us to adapt level for each track.

@Hempyjr The old Nico from the CM Forum would've probably complained about the last lap in Abu Dhabi. But that was not my choice to make, so what good would it do to complain about it?

Also, what makes you say I'm new to F1 games? I've been playing those games actively since F1 2015, and every single game since then up until F1 2020 was at least good.

Also, I said it in this post already, I had no idea the Adaptive AI feature existed to begin with, but well hidden, and since I didn't get to test it, I have no idea what it does.
