F1® 22 - Patch 1.15 Discussion Thread

Just updated the game and the experience is absolutely dissapointing: Random stuttering on carreer mode and the game keeps crashing after 3-5 minutes.

I just spent the last two hours trying to play for more than 2 minutes the Hungary GP and couldn't even move beyond Practice 1 because the game just kept crashing.

A couple of months ago the stability issues where less concerning, at least I could play for 30-45 minutes without the game crashing ... absolutely frustrating!!! (No changes have been made either in the HW nor the SW of the PC I use to play). 

Specs:
- i7 12700k
- RTX 3080 TI
- 32 GB DDR4
- NVME

Has traction changed or is McLaren just that bad?   Started a career mkde with Williams before the update and all was fine then started a new one with McLaren with the new livery and I can barely stay on the track anf have had to lower difficulty to keep from dropping into bottom 10.

Hard tyres are never used during quali, in general one of the two sets available is used in P1 only, and teams never use more than a set per race, opposite to medium tyres.

Can the set of softs now allocated to P1 be swapped with hard tyres? I'm unable to test the durability of the hards now in free practice.

The correct allocation for the weekend should be:

P1: M, H;

P2: S, S;

P3: S, S;

Q1: S, M;

Q2: S, S;

Q3: S;

R: M, H.

Race with safety car still has trouble.

1. View Replay after race with safety car has problem. I can not skip the laps of SC and rewind or fast forward crash the game.

2. I pitted when safety car deployed, but my position go to one lap behind from other drivers not just last position.

Good morning. i kave  many problems iwith multiplayer social races dont conect  after patch 1.15 . i tried many solutions but the problem is here. Maby  the developers tell me a solution to work???

Anyone trying to help will need more information. What platform do you play on, what actually happens, and was this working OK on version 1.14?

@SexyBrigadeiroI went to imola on gp so I could cycle through the tyre selections and harder isn’t a issue: but I think softer are. As it allocates 2 sets off softs to sprint race. Harder and balanced have 2 different tyre… also In the tyre allocation in gp mode the tyres are placed under S… For Sprint. But in my team sprint is R aswell as main race. Rules in the Race is to have a different option. If R allocation is linked to those rules that could be the reason

I have the same issue since the patch. I believe it has been reported as a bug. Hard and Mediums are locked for Qual which is a problem. This happens for ongoing career mode. If you start a new career (which we don't really want to do) the tire allocation can be selected at the start of the race (at least race 1) and it allocates correctly for the "balanced" and "softer" options. Still this issue with the "Harder" selection I believe.

I've been discussing this issue on another topic at the Technical Issues section.

I thought I found a solution - it worked after testing it for several times - and then this last weekend, it didn't and I kept getting the same error messages.

P.S. The issue is NOT solved yet and that 'workaround' is NOT working perfectly.
