I don't understand how there hasn't been any form of communication from EA, one of the biggest game publishers... One of their main features, playing together with friends, doesn't work and we haven't heard anything about it other than the one post from EA_rephii. Why is there such radio silence? Can't they at least tell us that they're working on it as fast as they can't, or an apology?
Things can go wrong when developing and publishing a game, I get that. But the lack of information is the thing that I absolutely don't understand from a company the size of EA...
Shambles of a release... not being able to play against other PC players on launch is an absolute joke, especially when there's existing cross client solutions for other games (including the previous F1 21). EA living up to their reputation once again.
It is not even possible to play via LAN, if one has steam version and the other one got the origin version..
Error with the message: the game version is different
edit: both games up to date ..

To be honest, it's not that annoying that they "missed" to announce that crossplay won't be available at release, it can happen to anyone. The most annoying thing is the lack of communication, intended or not, with F1 community in this case. Just thinking that EA, such a big company and they choose this way, not to communicate with us to give some ETA or something about when certain problems will be solved (in this case crossplay on PC, it's already one week since we've heard something) it's just incredible, i can not believe it, that's the most annoying thing...
If i would be the head of the development team for this game i would be embarrassed. It is an absolute disgrace this type of things are not taken care of pre launch!
Fix this *, i want to play with my mates
Do we have confirmation that this extends to Leagues at all?
Coop career and social are mentioned, but what about competitive (ranked, time trial, and leagues)?

I thought leagues normally host races via social lobbies? What we've been told is crossplay won't be coming to the other areas you've mentioned.
- Hempyjr3 years agoSeasoned Ace@Magic-ish_Mike I can confirm that this extends to Leagues too. My brother has the game on Origin and we can't play. Tho i am still waiting for someone from EA to tell us something, an ETA, anything...
I really feel sick about all this. Like I said earlier, I've talked with EA on the phone last Friday, and he assured me that the issue would be fixed within a few days.
However, now I've been told by someone else that there are no such plans any time soon. This is absolutely ridiculous. I feel screwed over completely. Apparently EA employees lie...
I guess we can go in justice againt EA.
Promote the game with the crossplay, but finally not available, and no information when it was possible.
Said trial player can play with player who have the complete game. We try this with my friend, i can't access to online with my EA trial ...
And impossible to play with player on the SAME platform ??
First EA F1 game, and this... Really disapointing !
