Same for me on PS5 with Dualsense.
The deadzone at the end of the trigger is huge, the control is so hard this year. Also no rumble vibration regarding traction loss.

Guys try turning triggers off.. I and a few others have found you get more travel with the accelerator
The triggers are so weak this year your pushing through the haptic/rumble without noticing. When triggers are off those features being inactive give you old school travel. Not great but some off us find it helps
Increasing throttle linearity anywhere from 50-100% will also help.
Then try playing around with max wheel rotation in FFB. Try increasing it incrementally by 10-20. It’ll make accelerating out off corners abit easier. However increasing it to much will make steering in slow chicanes less responsive. Personally I find 380-410 works for me track depending. A few I know have found 440 to be their sweet spot.
Finally if using manual gears. The meta is to stay in high gears for slow corners. 2nd gear corner is now 3rd gear 3rd gear corner now 4th etc. this will also help traction. However If using auto gears you’ll have to make do and practice feathering the throttle until you have the finesse off a brain surgeon

@aduroseI assume your Xbox doesn’t have trigger rumble things.. regardless I think you will still have the option to turn triggers on or off. And I still think it will help you if they are off.
Sorry for multiple replies I’m currently having to multitask and Just like any man I can only do one thing at a time.. Although I do that one thing awesomely 🤘😀 Not a problem, I have tried from Traction control on, off, medium and it is mental insane to be anywhere competitive in a race.
This is probably related to how inaccurate and the rev control with lower gears, literally dropped from silver 2 to Bronze 1 in ranked races, because of this.
EA need to sort the low gear issue and actually let people drive like a car should be with "Normal" gear control.

Problem with medium traction control is it just lets go when to much power is applied which results in snap spin especially when adding any kind off steering angle. Problem with full traction control is it doesn’t allow for any wheel slip at all so soon as the game detects any hint off you losing traction it kills the power sent to the rear wheels thus seriously hampering your ability to accelerate from slow speeds. Hence why keeping car in higher gear as possible is so important whether using TC or not…. Current F1 22 speed god on Xbox FRA Elite. Does it perfectly. But he does also use a wheel which helps. I hate he’s over 30 years younger than me. Damn kids😂
- BadMayh3m3 years agoSeasoned Ace@adurose Try 90 throttle linearity(sp)
If still having problems start bumping On Diff up by 5 till you quit spinning.
You also could try 12/30 wings as a test - @ScarDuck14 He is scary good... watch him and Limitless... yep, no wheel for me I am afraid! lol
- @BadMayh3m Thanks for the suggestion, will have to try something, as from being competitive to a joke is embarrassing...

@ScarDuck14Already disabled triggers and still no feeling when traction is lost. Definitely not there this year.
Also im running with throttle linearity, which I never had to before and also with 400 degrees wheel rotation, again something never had to. Just because this god damn ffb is broken. And still i'm down from 110 AI to barely beating 105, which in competitive leagues is a disaster.Oh and the worst thing is, that this behavior is not even recognized by the developers. Only thing is "inconsistent ffb (PC)", nothing related to consoles. Just play a lap with the settings in F1 21 and then the same in 22. Miles different. Can't be intentional.
