Just embarassing at this point...not even tech support works it says page not found
To quote Alan Shearer "Have you ever thought it might be you?"
Starting a new post only blinds people to the information you already gave and the things that have been suggested and what you had in that flashbacks were a way you could replicate a crash (even if that is not the cause it is a symptom).
I also can't believe that the reason you gave (CPU fan speed) was the issue that a Flashback caused a crash. Random comments on Reddit. Sheesh. I said nothing.
I have no idea where the fun is in going beyond vanilla.
Check your PSU is the correct power rating (use a system power calculator online, ensure it meets minimum GPU stated requirement. 80plus is helpful but not a panacea). Consider replacing / substitution if you crash at benchmark stage.
Update your mainboard UEFI, save a full defaults, set only necessary settings - hardware features like XMP and SAM/Resize BAR are not tweaks they are supported function modes, no magic. Turn off any UEFI options that load manufacturer utilties by default.
Test your RAM, use a reputable tool like Memtest, test DIMMs singly or minimum configs if single is not possible, use known good to test DIMM banks. Test full occupancy (4x sticks) if that is your end config.
Use a manufacturing storage utility to test integrity and update firmware for any drives (NVMe, SSD, SATA). Minimum format (low level if poss) or destroy partitions ahead of OS install later.
Check your GPU manufacturer support for any applicable firmware (some 3080s have BIOS flashes, could apply to other cards)
Use another machine to create install media (MCT) for Windows 10 or Windows 11 - latest public builds ONLY. For W10 I would install without internet, not simple for W11 unless you have the correct SKU.
Mainboard drivers, latest. (For AMD this will be on AMD website, for Intel there may be a preinstall driver depending on how new your chipset is).
GPU driver - latest recommended or WHQL release. Do not adjust any driver options globally or otherwise.
Ensure audio and LAN drivers are up to date (often manufacturer sites are not up to date), for Intel you can use Driver and Support Assistant to update many components. It is not a perfect tool and it is not blanket coverage but it can be helpful. Realtek have their own driver releases.
For other more esoteric hardware try the manufacturer support, ensure drivers and firmwares are latest. Read release notes where available and check for flags that may apply.
Install hardware monitoring software that can check your CPU temps, GPU temps etc. HWiNFO or Afterburner are fine (use the latest version of these - Afterburner/RTSS beta is also working fine for me).
Run a testing suite or benchmark and ensure performance meets peers with similar hardware or is within the scope of testing deviation.
Download Steam / Origin latest.
Redownload your game. Consider deleting your Steam cloud save data or loading it then deleting all save game data. Stuff in Online Services will remain.(you will have no save game data as you installed to a fresh storage). Set only native resolution of monitor if not autodetected properly.
Run the game benchmark. Observe temps and performance - there are F1 22 benchmarks out there you should be able to check you hit peer performance.
Try your replicable error (in your instance Flashback). Observe normal operation.
Play the game, change settings in steps where you confirm the change is okay. I've written this in steps that will ensure you reach the point where the game should work. Post a detailed bug report if you're still having issues, after first checking that someone else has that issue, add to their post if you find it's common.
