"After years of complaints about inconsistencies in the AI’s performance between circuits and players struggling to find the right balance for them in single player mode, the announcement of a new ‘adaptive AI’ system was one of the more interesting aspects of the new title. Disappointingly, adaptive AI does not actually allow you a way to tailor your single-player experience to suit your skills. Instead, it’s limited to the ‘casual’ game mode designed for new, inexperienced or younger players."
I was so hoping the AI difficulty issue would be finally fixed but Adaptive AI was not the fix.

And glad it’s only on casual settings: I’d be screaming it were on expert. Can you imaging the frustration
I saw that as for MT there really isn't any changes. I'll find out tonight.
- @DukeOfAntwerp I was expecting more too. It took a while between the announcement and Codies actually explaining what it was all about – even then, I think the first time they properly addressed it was with one of those Lee Mather interviews with content creators.
In the meantime I was hoping it would be a game wide system that would suggest adjusting the AI level some steps up or down between sessions based on your performanced relatively to proper benchmarks.
