It's good thing that you fixed ia speed in career mode but can you do it too for the GP Mode & weekly event.

First, I can assure you that there is the same issue about the IA speed in straight lines than about the the career mode.
And I know about the settings, I tried differents ones, the fuel is on the minimum for all laps in 50% race for example.
So I ask to the ea team to check up the IA speed IN GP mode as same as they did for the career one and fixing it
I think it is just with corner exits the AI can get on the power earlier and in a perfect manner vs. the player. Same thing with race starts. On the rare occasion I manage to match the AI acceleration on a corner exit to a straight I can get by them fairly easy. It is just so difficult to match their corner exit skills consistently. They also seem to have better traction over curbs.
@HansenhausIt's not just that, most of the times players were probably just stuck inside the DRS train as well as not realizing the dirty air had a quite significant affect on corner exit. Or, the difficulty setting was simply too high for them.
We need more info from the OP's situation first.
What are you talking about with AI straight line speed bug in GP mode? There is no bug and it never was in GP mode. To quote a famous driver "stop inventing". It's a different game with a different driving style, compared to F1 2021 i even managed to raise my AI level and not only me, a lot of other players don't have this problem with AI speed in GP mode. The problem is how some players take the corners and how they position themself on track for the corner exit! My advice, watch others on youtube how they take corners so you can maximaze your speed in straight line and you will be surprised. After all "slow in, fast out"!
If watching youtube videos doesn't help to change driving style, the other solution is to lower your AI level, it's perfectly normal!

It's not straight line speed, But something is definitely off in Grand Prix mode.

There’s no problem in grand prix mode.
if you feel easier than gp mode, I believe because of some development parts.
Now I put tyre pressure more higher in career mode than before. Imo that helps me more easier and I can go podium place now with alpha tauri in career mode.
