friends list not working

Product: F1 22
Platform:PC
Summarize your bug When trying to invite friends after crossplay was added or look at those online, my friends list is blank in friends hub and when in lobby. It shows how many are online, and loads one persons super license at the right, but thats it. Have tried validating game files and restarting game. On steam. Ive attached a picture
What is your 16 digit Report Code? TCXC-KSBT-XMMG-TJTE
Which area is the bug/glitch in? Multiplayer
How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
Did you have cross-play enabled? Yes
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? When in friends menu (inside player hub) , as well as when pressing invite when in a multiplayer lobby, the friends tab is always blank
What happens when the bug occurs? my friends dont load in/ the list is blank, meaning i cant invite anyone to lobbies or see who are my friends
What do you expect to see? a list of all of my friends, online and offline i assume, and their super license on the right, and ability to invite them when in multiplayer

    Yes it's platform friends that seem to be the issue. I reduced my Steam friends but unsure of the upper limit. I just had to have a cull fairly so I didn't take one and check, rinse, lather, repeat.

    Anyone not online over 6 months or unlikely to face again / no real memory of interacting.

    I agree this was an issue in beta crossplay 2 at least, crossplay beta 1 was unstable and I had almost zero testing opportunity.

    What is your 16 digit Report Code? No code, It happens while watching the list in the main menu.
    Which area is the bug/glitch in? Multiplayer and main menu.
    How often does the bug occur? After patch 1.09 Every time (100%)

    I have a frind with the seam problem but he only have 70 friends on racenet

    I have the same problem. First friend added just to try it out. Will there be a response from EA?

    @EA_Atic My EA friends just disappeared from my in-game HUB, I am on steam and all my friends from other platforms are not showing up. Can u help me with that?

    I had the same problem and the list was not displayed in game. I fixed it removing some friends from my EA friends list (From the EA App) and restarting the game. Idk if that was the reason but it worked for me. 🤨

    I have the same when trying to add someone 

    Crossplay is enabled and i am on ps5 how do i fix it
