It on occasion has me wondering. If anyone does use all off F1 life’s features. And kitted themselves with the latest style other than the default free options.Ive only ever see. People post that they would never ever even if they had all the pitcoin in the world.This thread isn’t to criticise or poke fun at anyone who does enjoy what F1 has to offer. I think gameplay is the most important thing. Some think it’s realism. And other want to see more birds flying around or leaves on various trees have the correct shade off green.We are all different and like different things. Which is at it should. I’d just like to gauge if F1 life got any traction or has a secret cult following

When those were announced I thought they were useless. And still do after like tens of hours in game. I mean f1 life is so bad, that ea could make money by offering a dlc where they would remove f1 life from the game.In my first evening of the game I did not do anything else but to put on a podcast and go through all the settings of the game to set it how I want. Made some liveries and a race suit. I then set up some default options for my house and casual wear, and I don't see any reason why I would ever go there again.For supercars, i still think they are useless too in an f1 game. Once, when I was about to continue co-op career with my friend, i got a phone call from my mom and while on the phone, so while on the phone, i took a supercar for a spin on the track. That was all. And I have assetto corsa and gt7, so I don't know why i would try the supercars again.I hope they focus on the right things next year, but can't say i am too optimistic. Just had a chat with a friend who we drive a league with, that likely f1 23 will be a skip year again, unless they do some actual notable improvements.

Will not spend a pitcoin on decor. Would like my visitors to leave. I’d rather see my trophies than the super car which I still have never bothered to drive.I would pay for helmets, race suits, gloves, liveries, and especially liveries that look like they belong in F1.

@ScarDuck14 Same, and I'd love to extend that question to supercars too.I just cannot see it as a selling point for the franchise with the current tacked on implemention. And knowing how tight they strap their belts, I do not want to see they pouring the necessary dev time to bring this feature to a noteworthy level.Braking Point has more potential than this. Specially when you can basically offload to a partnered studio to run the script, instead of spreading the same game engine blanket to accomodate F1, F2 and supercars.

I’m honestly confused how such a suggestion could be approved and implemented. I’m certain that they would earn much, much more on the micro transactions if they spent the time on helmet designs, maybe with different vents, more and better liveries and sponsors. And even such a small thing as letting sponsors be shown on helmet in career, people who play career would probably spend pit coins on sponsors as well then. I had zero interest in this first podium pass. And since the weekly’s and dailies are filled with sofas, lamps and what not, I’m actually + 750 pit coins so far. (First weekly had a helmet I bought).

@ScarDuck14 I would say...the game needed better resource allocation tbh. If the game was on a better condition, it could be at least justifiable to have such mode. F1 Life to me is a waste of time, too expensive to have a personalized character, I prefer that we had a more insightful Formula One Feel than anything.How about a better myTeam customization for cars, suits and helmets? Let our creativity go wild. then we could have more paddock interactions...might even give something akin to a drive to survive feel.To have the same house, clothes and cars as everyone I doubt it's what f1 life is really. I don't hate it, it's just disappointing on what it could be and what it really is, that I prefer to not have it at all and other modes were really improved.

I just cannot see it as a selling point for the franchise with the current tacked on implemention. And knowing how tight they strap their belts, I do not want to see they pouring the necessary dev time to bring this feature to a noteworthy level.

As I pre ordered and got pitcoin in it. I bought I the vip podium pass and one livery from the store and I couldn’t help myself also got the superhero pose but only cause I can use it in my team. And as it’s the closest thing that resembles me as they didn’t have a god pose 😀

@AEF251 I would rather have quality design by default in the game + proper detailed livery customization. Preferably something like gt7, but i would accept something a bit more simplified.

I would NEVER spend real money or pit coin on a lamp or a pair of trousers for a digital avatar in the game menu. I'm almost certain that nobody on my freinds list cares!
I haven't bothered with F1 Life, and wouldn't care if it disappeared.
I will be spending my 18,000 pit coin on helmet designs, as this is something that DOES get seen in gameplay, but there seems to be a real lack of them available.
Can codemasters/ea please stop giving us 50 options of floor tile and give us some car and helmet designs instead!!!

@ScarDuck14 Nope, never spent a single pitcoin on F1 life, never will. Not even the free pitcoin from the basic podium pass.
I didn't even unlock all the supercars despite having the tokens for them.
When in driver career mode I usually just skip the supercar stuff, and I might just do the same in MyTeam when it's playable enough for me to start it.
I tried a couple of those events, and they were genuinely the least fun I've had in the game.

It's interesting because the survey EA sent out to people about the game was pretty much focused on how you were influenced to buy the game questions such as "were you influenced by a youtuber to buy the game etc" and a lot of the questions where about marketing.
The survey didn't ask me any real questions about hardcore F1 stuff, or technical aspects, driving etc, it was entirely focused on fluff features and what marketing essentially should be used in future.
Hardly bodes well for the future going by the survey, as someone with a lot of years in board meetings it most definitely read like the old classic of tailoring the questions to steer the answers they want for the direction the board has already chosen
