@FreakstyleThe problem is. As this game is F1 specific. It’s main customer base are F1 fans. As F1 is the most watched Racing series in terms off worldwide reach: (As I think nascar has a audience that rivals F1 but it’s more localised and from what I understand viewing figures and race attendance are dropping like a stone.). Because off this making the F1 game a hardcore sim would lose the F1 fan custom cause they buy the game for a few hours off fun here and there. Most racing games/sims have massive amounts more content to help sell games.
If F1 games were more Sim it would make the game financially unviable to develop. And F1 would end up being added on to another game like Indy car was to pc2. With gp mode ane multiplayer only.
And although I admire the time and effort you’ve put into your post. Making it as long as you have will result is less replies. Cause you’ve made to many points for people to remember and reply to 😀 hence I’ve Just replied to your first point.

Most or many sports title nowadays have an arcade mode and a simulation mode, so I don't see why F1 couldn't do the same thing.

- @allemands311 I have no idea off the figures and having a complete shot in the dark. but I’d expect games like Forza and GT7 have sold millions more compiles and then GT7 would have sold millions more credits compared to pitcoin. And then they can continue to sell DLC for the lifespan off the game etc etc.
And EA(Board/shareholders) only develop and sell games if the margin is there. I passionately hate how the industry is all about maximising profits by milking their customer base for every penny. However with the F1 games that have a tiny player base compared to other big name games and it’s limited micro transaction potential means less allocation off resources.,
