This is my experience as well. I only play career mode and so when you have put the time into finding the right difficulty level, completing practice programs, full qualy sessions - it is incredibly frustrating to have the game do you over by badly coded AI. The starts they get off the line are insane - even on 70 degree tyres - the pace they have in the wet is superhuman - and their ability crash (normally into me) and come out of it without any damage is just insulting. I don't want my AI to be passive but I do want them to have to follow the laws of physics. I am sure this will be met with 'turn the AI level down' but that is not the case at all.

@Bauersome Yes. Just play by the same rules. That's literally all I want out of the AI. Once we are all starting from the same point, I'll figure out the right difficulty, the quirks and the unrealistic idiosyncrasies of the game to suite my play. But the AI have to follow the same rules first.
