I just won the very first race of the season, no one past me in the short 5-lap race, but when I crossed the finish line first....THE GAME SAID I WAS IN 7TH PLACE!!!! WHAT???? has this happened to anyone else?

If you had any crashes or incidents during the race then you may have got time penalties. They get added on at the end afaik.
@jimmarshallI reported this issue 2 weeks ago before the game came out, seems like it made it into the game... Even though my bug report was the first one on the forum, I didn't get any response from an EA dev
