Is F1 eSports dead?
I notice the F1 esports tab is not present in F1 22. Is the series finished? Is Jarno, Marcel, Brendon etc out of work? Maybe it was a flop. Anyone got any info?. EDIT: I thank the Gods of Death an...

At this point I wouldn't rule out it just being added later. You could be right though.
Re. YouTube adds I get none on my phone due to an adblocker but do get them on my TV. Nothing like as many as you described though. I've never tried watching YouTube via a PlayStation though. They're really not well suited to general internet use.
Maybe the F1 esports was removed to make way for the new F1 life.
I think it was a good decision. I hope I can get a toaster soon.

How many new esports players have their been in the past few years?, considering the current e-sports players all get advance copies of the game before anyone else.
This year for example most of the top names had 30-60hrs on F1 22 before it even released. Talk about a competitive advantage

I sometimes think the game was built for them. Same ol faces, Their only saving grace is they have good expensive wheels. If all pad users had the good stuff, Jarno wouldn't be top 1%, most likely top 100%.

And it works you cant buy their products cause they're ALL sold out except the most expensive.
Jarno IS the top dog and the one to beat and imo only Freddy R really stands a chance.

Sadly FG44141, In my opinion, there is no competitive edge because there is no competition. Same old faces all the time.
We pay, they play.
We buy the game, they get it free.
We buy the Fanatec products, they get them free.
We watch F1 eSports, they hit us with advertisements.
If they have an issue with the game, its immediately addressed whilst others get left in the lurch.
Hopefully EA can put their heel on this nonsense, Codemasters certainly did not.
It fills me with much joy and hope to see the F1 eSports scam tab removed from the game.
May it never darken our tabs again. If that eSports tab was removed to make way for the
new F1 life tab, I truly feel we got a great deal.

Why the bitterness towards e-sports drivers?
It's always the same drivers because they're the best at the game. Kinda like real F1. Teams want the best exposure possible, and you don't get that by hiring someone who's 0.3 seconds off the pace, an absolute mile in e-sports terms.
And there is a lot of competition, literally anyone can qualify if good enough.
I agree with the different builds - we are treated like 2nd class citizens whilst paying for the game. We are the reason they have a game to sell in the first place, so, if anything, we should get it first.
This year has proven that the beta was a good thing - I'm sure EA strolled in with arrogance and said "Right, here's how it's gonna be, no beta!", and assumed everything will be just fine. Basically, paying customers have become the beta testers. There are bugs every year, but this year is next level.
