Maxed Car Setup Suggestions

@LuckyNico92Never playing career mode as far because i dont like maxed out cars or how the overall development of that mode is, but unless your brakes are getting to 1400° they are still braking acceptable.. Like even at 1250° you can get about very similar laptimes as with perfect temps, just need to brake a little bit earlier.. Its not costing you seconds its costing you tenths at most, just set your braking point a tiny bit earlier

In regards of the overall setup there is likely no general setup because the maxed out cars are very specific with its characteristics and every player will have different problems - requires different setups

Ok I’m going off just what @Meza994  said.  As it’s quicker.  

Nico you use a Pad?   When pressing either trigger.  You get use of 80%  off travel.   And last 20% is dead.     When you’re flying Down a straight at  220MPH  and fast approaching a 2nd gear hairpin.   As you pass the 150.   Hit your brakes hard for a micro . Then come off then press brake no more than halfway:  and do it faster than light speed.  Takes getting used to.  But ABS or not.   Never Applyi100% brake pressure

Pointing out races you don’t have unlimited tyre wear and one spin ruins your race. So what’s the point off practicing for a race by beating a hot lap time 

love when he says ok so can you do it again and again and again and again and again and again.

So, I just tried this out, and it feels like it really was a setup issue.

I first ran time trial in Melbourne, trying to find viable setups. And after some time, I actually found one, for both the dry and the wet conditions. I even improved my dry PB by a second with the new setup.

The key to using TT setups in Career Mode races with enabled carcass temps is to minimize the tire pressures, as otherwise, your tires will overheat like crazy. It might decrease tire life, but it's the far safer option.

And believe me, while this worked as expected, the ridge between racing and spinning out is very limited. The chance of spinning out if you take it too aggressive is high, so easing throttle and steering is the best you can do, especially when your tires are approaching the 60%. Overall though, I had a much easier time with the new setup, as I managed to get through all the practice programs after getting used to the setup.
