The latest preview released today shows the new sectors time hud. The lap time sectors on right go purple, red etc as expected however there no longer is a live current lap time delta for example showing your lap or sector is -.520 or +.250 etc nowSeems a bit weird that it only shows the sector time now and not the live lap delta that it used to This is a really important lap time feature @EA_Kent https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Z0CjEZf08s8

A game is meant to please as many as possible so having the option to make the game as flexible as possible to the players liking is best.

@SomaticCoast375 Exactly what Meza said, but also if the reasoning was that they want to make it more like real life, then they should disable the whole HUD by default.This is most likely a feature they forgot to add to the new UI

Hi, is it possible that it has not been activated in the settings?
Because otherwise it would be a serious lack, also because we have seen that every driver has the delta directly in his steering wheel ...

The really striking thing about the clips is that water on the camera would not behave that way. Running down with gravity but no effect from the 150mph forward motion? Okay....

@FG44141 Nice catch, this has to be fixed for release. It's one of the most important gameplay feature, being able to tell if you are faster or slower lap after lap is essential.

Agree. Lap delta must be on the steering wheel display as in F1'21.

@Pinball_W12ard Watching the gameplay videos the lap delta is still there on the steering wheels, the only problem is that it's not there in the HUD.

It makes no sense to disable it when its shown in cockpit cam anyway, if you dont like it shown in T-Cam disable it - an option to disable it is best. A game is meant to please as many as possible so having the option to make the game as flexible as possible to the players liking is best.
