Please.. These Personnel boosts..

The hidden application of Personnel Facility boosts on AI drivers just flatten the entire experience because the effects are too significant. Basically in late game, pretty much all current F1 drivers have all/near maxed out stats (all 100). These is simply no reason to hire different drivers because they're all the same at that point.

Like Liaveal said, only by simply disabling those boosts on other teams and make it exclusive for your teammate would be million miles better than the current model. In fact, the bug from pre-v1.06 actually diverse the grid way better than post patch.

Then about driver and Team performance editor, these two are what I think is a must have instead of the current trend of "performance patches" which will always miss the mark and mess up more things than serving any real meaningful purposes.

@LiavealTo be fair they are not 5/10/15 anymore.. more likely 5/7/10 or 5/7/9 dunno for sure (I know 5 and 7 for sure) though but still not useful for any realism!

I guess that's a little better although it's still way too many bonus stats considering they're permanent. Whole personnel facility needs a complete rework but we know that won't happen. Three games people have complained about it but they still insist on adding it in its infuriating. It feels like they're actively trying to ruin career mode sometimes.

Surely one of these solutions can be done:

1. Remove them altogether.

2. Make them player My Team teammate only.

3. Nerf them from 5/10/15 to 1/3/5 or 3/5/7.

4. Option to disable them for all teams.

5. Stop them being permanent and make it so that Personnel is what makes stat boosts appear in team events.

Or best yet, driver stay editor... At least then we can fix stats as well as use it to negate the boosts.

Completely ruined my driver career.

Eg was with mclaren with Noris as team mate, perfect ai and competition with him pre 1.06. Afterwards he was rated 99, in 4th best car he won every race after. P20 to p1 in abu dahbi.

Changed teams to Ferrari and Sainz is rated 98!

Increases are:

+15 to exp = now 90

+10 race craft =  now 100

+12 awareness =  now 100

+10 pace = now 98

The worst part of it is I don't get any bonuses so I'm immediately at a disadvantage in the same equipment. 

I'm having to turn down the AI more which just negates the point of personal improvements no? 

Maybe I'm just terrible at this year's game but I liked the no bonus glitch in the first version.

Any thoughts from anyone else would be great

Please, at least make it an option to turn them off... They ruin the balance of career modes, a lot of users raised their voice on this matter

Like others have said, Focus and Personnel boosts are going to end up ruining career mode.

In F1 2020 we were able to change difficulty between sessions and that way i was able to adjust the AI level, but for some reason they decided to remove that feature in 21 even tho nobody asked for it.

They need to go.

All last year a week didn’t go by without a respected member off the community posting on Codemasters forum asking for them to be scrapped. And every reply to those posts were in strong agreement.   Trouble is two members off the Dev team chat with us but they don’t do ai or gameplay….. funny how those are the parts most broken
