Make sure that in the Steam Controller config (Steam Settings) that your Playstation Configuration Support is deselected (turned off).
Dual Sense works fine for me (Triggers and Rumble) when this is deselected.
Has anyone else been able to check this? Does disabling the Steam Controller Configuration Support work for you?

@EA_Kent No, it doesn't. Changing those settings in steam does not work for me and the other people I have discussed this issue with on reddit and the steam forums. I am using a xbox series controller, still have no feedback with the triggers.
