Race practice program - to ERS/DRS (or not)
Hi guys,
Looking for some advice regarding the race practice program. I know currently results of this program are not flowing into the actual race strategy options pre-race and I hope that’ll be fixed soon.
I am currently in MyTeam season 1, last in the car dev standings. If I was in the front car, I’d only use ERS (as unlikely to get DRS in the race if out front).
I also know excessive use of ERS in the program to pass it cannot be replicated in the race.
My questions:
- Should I use ERS/DRS in the program?
- Does anyone know if the target times are adjusted for the use of these or not?
- How should I go about conducting the program and the use of these in order to get the most accurate results? (ATM am using all tools available to pass the program)
Any thoughts on the above? What do you do and what are your experiences of this?
