I have barely had any trigger vibrations since the game was released. I test it when a new patch is presented, but it doesent work, so I dont care any more. Had to cancel the league racing this year. This is my last bought F1 game. RIP!
Have bought every game since 2012. Even played one of the first f1 games on Atari, PC and on Amiga 500 in the -80`s. Yes im a grown man but like the freedom of a good game. Sadly this dont work for me. The game in general is good when you look past all the bugs and unnessesary stuff. Liked the story mode in f1 2021 a lot. Hoped to see something similar this year, but thats nothing to do with.
The great amount of bugs really kills the game for me.
I follow the league I would have participated in, and the season they have started have made them to work around many of the problems at hand. For instance they turn of SC because a bug can make the race leader lose a lot of time, even get a sudden penalty, which will ruin his race.
But other bugs might force them to restart the entire session.
To release a game half finished is to me unbeliveble. But I guess some people in nice dresses need to make some money as well. To bad we are the one who pays the bill for this mess.
@Oesi_F1 i am not denying what you are saying, I'm just saying what happened for me and atleast 1 or 2 others.

Well, if you are on PC, you can give this mod a go... Unfortunately it breaks Online compatibility (like using it in online lobbies) but the force feedback at least feels nicer to me. https://www.racedepartment.com/downloads/force-feedback-mod.54248/
- StefanKrunic974 years agoNew Scout@mantazzoLTU I tried the mod, Time Trial - Xbox 360 pad, it does not work at all for me.

^Well, it is difficult to say how different gamepads will react when you have only one of them :D But then again I'm not sure if these changes would help X360 gamepad users. For me, playing on Xbox One Gamepad, it felt quite a bit different.
@mantazzoLTU I tried it as well. It didnt do anything on my dualsense. On my series x/s it completely fixed trigger vibrations, however it did nothing to fix rumble vibrations(the feedback when trigger vibrations is off).
And since it cant be used for multiplayer that means stil cant do social/league races. Thanks for linking it tho. Sadly I never used trigger vibrations before, and Im not interested in learning how to drive using trigger vibrations so this broken game still remains unplayable for me
gonna be 2 months (more for some) and this game still unplayable for so many of us, and zero information from the apes that call themselves devs- mantazzoLTU4 years agoRising Scout
^Fair enough. Like I said, I can only hope things work on other gamepads, as I only have the Xbox One version. As for rumble vibrations - they seem to be broken for me also in a way - I mean, being able to feel all the vibration in spectator mode is quite distracting when spectating a League race... 😅
We are almost at October and this is still in investigating, E M B A R A S S I N G.
and being extremely honest, i think they did this "nerf" on purpose so the esports players don't complain about how good traction is on controller. Well done, next year i'll just avoid buying another F1 game.
SpoilerBETTER FIX MAGNUSSEN'S EYES AND ALBON'S NUMBER THAT CAN BE PICKED INSTEAD OF THE BASICS OF THE GAMEPLAY XDDSo many of our players from the league I oversee have dropped out and stopped playing because they're not having fun essentially playing blindfolded ☹️
Guys, I think the messed it up and they know it.
I have some good background in product development in big tech companies - the fact that this happening in such a non consistent manner, indicate that it’s really hard, and could be impossible to find the root cause.
In such cases sometime the only option to actually do a re-write on the entire module/service that carries the logic of the FFB in this case.I, for example, don’t have FFB only for Player two comptroller in split screen mode on PS5.
In all other case I have full FFB with my controller.
That's the main mode I play and it makes it really bad experience.
If thats the case, then let them work until they get a fix, and give refund to all of us that legit cant play anymore. Then if they finally actually somehow manage to do what they get paid to do, let us choose to buy the game agian.
Right now, its very likely looking like, they are gonna leave the game as it is, keep our money as well like thevies and sc um, and actually just wont do anything about it. As of now, this is something thats not affecting every controller user, and since we are already not most of the playerbase, they will actually just leave the game as is for rest of year and then they will start marketing their new broken garbage game for next year.

@jenny_a_m @EA_Kent is there any update on this? This has been an issue since launch on both my Xbox Series X controller and my Dualsense controller (I'm on PC), FFB is incredibly weak in general and the trigger rumble for traction on throttle is basically non-existent, it kind of feels like it's not using information from the rear wheels at all.
There is a mod that attempts to fix this and it certainly helps with feeling bumps and such on the track but it doesnt fix the triggers and you can't use it in any online gamemode.

Here's another logic. Yesterday I visited my friend who owns a Logitech G27. No feedback on throttle or brakes either! And I asked him whether he noticed a difference between this years game and previous ones, and he said the feedback's been the same. Could it be that they intentionally removed the rumble to equalize budget wheel players and controller players?
- Crunchar4 years agoNew Traveler
@StefanKrunic97No, it's just bugged. Here's a thread discussing broken FFB on Logitech wheels. There are many complaints on this forum about FFB if you use the search function, mostly about controllers and Logitech wheels. Improved FFB on controllers was literally a selling point of the game. Here's the part about triggers.

So, will there be an update?
Or just ignore this any further and then give us a "Tyre allocation"-like text in a few weeks?
- @Oesi_F1 The only way to escalate this would be through social media.
If a person here with more than a handful of followers will post on Twitter, tag EA, and she the link here for all of us to retweet, etc. --- that list might have a chance of getting noticed. - StefanKrunic974 years agoNew Scout@cc910eafad7c24a3 I'm pretty sure that they are well aware of the issue and it's a conscious decision not to spend too much time/effort/money on it.
My force-feedback and vibrations are gone from patch 1.07 (2 months ago), I made a thread about it when it happened explaining the current problem and none of the community managers even acknowledged it, 2 months later and playing on a controller is still dead 🙂
yup exactly the same case for me @v8u5jco54ukp
3 Months for fixing a bug, absurd.
We are still waiting for the fix.
- StefanKrunic973 years agoNew Scout
And still waiting. Guys stop sleeping.
I torrented an older version of F1 22, I'll test the feedback there tomorrow and let you know what's happening.
@StefanKrunic97 omg how did you manage to, also pls share here this is exactly what i need
- StefanKrunic973 years agoNew Scout
@tkc1hd9r7m9fI "illegally" downloaded it from a torrent website, but if I share the link they would cancel culture my @ss. Anyway, the 1.05 version of the game has a working force feedback, and here's a video to prove it.
Hit that XP+ button.
