Ok I’ll bite because I’m bored
Right now there’s a huge controversy surrounding a E-Sports driver. That matters to the community.
The rest of the E-Sports racers cannot comment on it.
Jarno edits his videos to reduces the length of them by cutting out boring parts off the race. There was no reason to leave those comments in. By leaving them in is typical passive aggressive behaviour

To be fair @Radoko34 it's actually quite an important topic that needs to be highlighted. I'm surprised that you're not all over it as it relates to the developers ignoring a huge problem with the game that is allegedly even impacting on eSports, which is the pinnacle of competitive play in the game and also carries a hefty financial prize to the winning team and player
As this alleged cheating has been going on for months and with the likes of Jarno Opmeer (and "half the grid" in his words) having to keep quiet about it, Codemasters and EA haven't done anything to fix it for the eSports build. That's a bad look if there are no integrity checks on the build or even anti-cheat mechanisms. All of this alleged anyway but it doesn't explain why they refuse to add these measures for normal players who are having their every day experience ruined by cheaters.
Maybe this should be added to the F1 2024 wishlist? 🤔
Anyway, if you're interested in the problem, I loathe to recommend but you can watch Limitless' last two videos on it.
Oh right! 😅
Sorry, I didn’t quite realise it was to do with anti-cheating.
Hence, I’m all for this, as I agree with you and @ScarDuck14, that it’s absolutely something that needs to be resolved.Besides, what I originally said wasn’t at all aimed to be derogatory in any way, it was more that I was unsure I what the purpose of the OP was. 👍
And yes, for sure it’ll be something to add to the 2024 wish-list.
Thanks @TotosHeadphones - super helpful as always! 😇
P.S. Did you ever get repaired after Toto slammed you down on the desk in Saudi’s Arabia? I hope it didn’t hurt too much… 😆- TotosHeadphones3 years agoSeasoned Ace

I think all in all, we're all trying to get the game in a good place and have a good, passionate community that works together. It sometimes feels on this board that we're unnecessarily rounding on each other for for various reasons. We all may not agree with stuff or things get misconstrued but we all need to be civil. A divided community will not get our wishes for the game achieved, or even looked at.
I liked what Toto did to me 😈 😂 In all seriousness, if there's more instances of headphone smashing this year then we know that the Championship is interesting, unlike last year's complete domination. Fingers crossed...
- ScarDuck143 years agoLegend@TotosHeadphones 50 Shades off Toto😁
Could not agree more with you.
Whilst we sometimes have opposing ideas, we do need to be civil like you say, and respect each others’ opinions.
And I’d like to think that as a community, we’re getting better at that. 👍And yes, another iteration of headphone slamming this year would be just what the doctor ordered 😈 (unless you’re the doctor for the headphones).
Hoping for a close championship fight this year! And hoping that Aston Martin can throw a spinner into the works this season. 🤞- BadMayh3m3 years agoSeasoned Ace
If said driver is cheating then how did Blakley become champ?
Have they also forgotten that he earned his place in Esports by winning on Lan?
Opmeer did the same things his rookie year and was known as Mr Hotlap but if he did that now he be accused of cheating!
The guy who runs PSGL Big C flat out told the chat said player was checked by Esports and found NOT to be cheating otherwise he wouldn't be allowed in their League.
That the game needs some type of anticheat no matter what I agree and the sooner the better.
- ScarDuck143 years agoLegend
@BadMayh3m if a cheat is being used it’s only a very slight increase to traction. Which is only enough to gain a few tenths. So it’s not an exploit that would give a glaring advantage.
As @TotosHeadphones mentioned watch the limited man’s latest video

To begin with, it's alleged. Secondly, as you know there are factors that happen in races that can affect the out come, even if a driver/person has a slight advantage, whether that be through cheating or skill. Examples such as team mates holding up the field or other drivers, weirdly for no particular reason driving in to you (that was a strange incident for sure 🤔😉).
I'm sure you watched the races because you seem to be an eSports fan and talk about these guys in such high esteem?
There's plenty of information out there but said alleged driver seems to refuse to drive anywhere other than his own room and with his build. There has also been whispering for months and also, Limitless who you have a lot of time for has posted maybe three or four videos on this, with some alluding to the driver and others also showing a direct comparison between that drivers qualifying lap and Opmeers. The lap itself is interesting viewing as I always thought to be fast in eSports you need to be be pinpoint on the apexes, but hey, what do we know?

Hadt to wait until the 19th minute in his latest video for a couple of funny grip comments.
- BadMayh3m3 years agoSeasoned Ace@ScarDuck14 Ive already watched the vid Duck.
Limitless needs to name his Esport insiders.....this is laughable cause as you know he has been black balled plain and simple.
There are no insiders who would trust him.
These insiders need to come forward and quit hiding in the shadows IF they can prove the cheating.
My question is why haven't they done it? - ScarDuck143 years agoLegend@BadMayh3m Because it’s alleged and no conclusive proof. I have no proof and what’s more I don’t really care. But smoke and fires and all that.
The problem is even if someone gets to examine his pc because it’s at his home he can clear all incriminating evidence. Only way to be sure is if he uses an independent sim rig under controlled conditions and puts in the same lap times. But even then if he fails to match his previous times the argument can be made as it’s not his rig he wasn’t able to set it up exactly how he likes - BadMayh3m3 years agoSeasoned Ace@ScarDuck14 Challengers was ran in a venue on LAN and he still won on NOT his rig.
He qualified on the Xbox and held ever record on every track before he moved to PC.
Since he couldn't cheat in either of those WHY throwaway a promising career now when it really counts? - ScarDuck143 years agoLegend@BadMayh3m Because people are people 🤷♂️
I've only just read this thread as from the title I thought it might include a spoiler for a race I hadn't seen.
Next year's eSports event really needs to be a local LAN competition as far as I'm concerned, plus it would work better as an event if everyone was all in one place anyway I think.
- ScarDuck143 years agoLegend
@Ultrasonic_77All them face to face. Be good as a Spectacle. Banter and fisticuffs 😂. But yeah independently verified rigs would be good. Even with drivers that race from their respective teams HQ’s can’t be fully trusted. As they have some of the smartest tech engineers employed there. I think it Would be easy for them to find exploits within the game they can use to their advantage. Real life sports don’t rely on teams to being honest.
Dude it’s me.. I don’t post spoilers😁 - TotosHeadphones3 years agoSeasoned Ace

I think it is going LAN from some of the comments that have been made. So there'll be no accusations, which is good for eSports
