Re: F1 22 crashing freezing on PS4

People try to do the following steps and try again, I was playing yesterday for more than an hour and even today and the game works. Has a few of the other bugs but at least I can play

Step 1: Close all applications and shut down the console.
Step 2: Turn off your console using the power button on the front panel.
Step 3: Once the console is off, press and hold the power button. Release it after you've heard two beeps: one when you initially press, and another 7 seconds later.
Step 4: Connect the controller with the provided USB cable and press the PS button.
Step 5: If Safe Mode launched successfully, select Option 5.

    @Gerardo_vzla I can assure non of that will work as that method is to fix system issues, this crash/freezing is a game issue not a system issue. I’ve tried this method to check and it still freezes and crashes no matter how many times you try.

    According to updatecrazy F1 22 Patch 1.05 Notes (Version 1.005) – July 3, 2022 but I only get 1.02 on my game and it would have the latest version.
    Guess all ps4 problems are because something went wrong with the updates and now we can't get any new ones. Hopefully ea and codemasters will finally do something about it. Been buying their racing games for 14 years and feel really sacked.

    FIX THIS NOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    @kevohx I recomended because I tried and works for me, I reinstalled the game and free up some space of the HD and the game is working just the "normal" bugs like the time sector, music and other things, also I did the option 6 of safe mode in my console last friday before rebuild DB

    @uzhhggfr like i Said, for me works perfectly, I just posted it to share my result I know EA should fix the bug but this could be a good workaround to play the game until EA launch the next patch

    @Gerardo_vzla Leider hat es bei mir nicht funktioniert und es ist schon komisch, dass angeblich eine Version 1.04 draußen ist. Habe nur die 1.02 und habe kein Update. Hoffe die werden langsam den Fehler beheben

    @uzhhggfr sorry to hear that, I hope you can play soon, I dont have any update in the game, even I didn't know about the "new" version 1.04

    Those steps do not work, ive 14 crashes just today, its broken my wheel, caused system failure in my ps4 and ive had to replace my hdd, i moved over to my pc and it did the exact same thing, this game needs to be banned from being used at all before they get sued for destroying everyones hardware, this is more than just a bug, its literally frying peoples systems and causing critical system errors

    At this point I’ve just switched back to last years game until it’s fixed. Ridiculous.
