Absolutely not. I drive on a controller and have no issues with not spinning out. Besides, my controller has no vibrations whatsoever, so I visually guess when the traction is appropriate to apply full throttle.

 

Here's me on F1 22. It took me 3 laps to sort of feel the grip available.😉

    @Blackbird90 Yeah... I'm still very early to the game, but did 2-3 laps of Spa with my controller before plugging the wheel and it was fine. First lap was obviously a spin festival, but on lap 2 it was alright.

    No assists.

    Gotta say that shortshifting was crucial around some bends there though, but that's on par with the sport.
