Maybe you have the button already set to something else and the game won't let it double stack?
If so try default settings just to test would be my suggestion.

Go to osd customisation. Filters… change from normal to pits and check if turn in is not set to hidden
@Ultrasonic_77 It doesnt even shaw A if i go in the pits. I play on a PlayStation wheel and there are no default controls for it.
And if i insert a button its really weird i get 1 if I click the X. @Ultrasonic_77
@ScarDuck14 What do you mean by: osd?
@ScarDuck14 Now i cant click customizations its really weird.
- ScarDuck143 years agoLegend@beans946 You have to be on track. Pause the game then go to settings: then the osd customisation will be selectable

Sorry, I don't understand what you mean there?
I don't think this is an OSD setting personally, assuming you're seeing the arrows to indicate the turn in to the pits like in the photo @PrzKek posted?

@Ultrasonic_77It’s two separate elements that appear when in pit lane. The turn in element that changes colour green or purple depending on timing it right And showswhich button to press isn’t appearing

@Ultrasonic_77And I live in hope that one day you may actually agree that occasionally I maybe right
Note the pictures below and the highlighted box’s in green and the white banners in the the pictures where one says pit message and the other grid box indicator…I think you’ll find Two separate elements which can both be set to either hidden or appeathang on just for you I’ll post another picture with the turn in box set to hidden and you’ll note it’s now red as it will no longer appear when pitting. But you can also see the picture grid box indicator is still outlined in green which means when in pit lane that will still show up. Just as the Person with the issue has shown in his picture
Still ❤️ Ya fella
@ScarDuck14 I'm not at home to test but it looks all or nothing to me from those photos? In that I can't see a way you can have the turn in message with the timing number that counts down on it, but not the button to press below it? That's what the example I referred to above had, copied below to save hunting back. Not sure if I'm missing something or not...
@ScarDuck14 It is already on idk why the button doesnt show up.

I'm still wondering if it's because the button isn't one on the primary controller. There's another thread on the same topic that I see has been bumped today, suggesting the relevant button bind is the accept/advance one. What do you currently have set for this? If it's not a button on your wheel it might be worth trying to make it one and see if it makes a difference.
- @beans946 just spotted I missed your last photo but I'm afraid it doesn't really mean anything to me without seeing the commands as well as the buttons.

@beans946Here we go.......what is a PlayStation wheel?
Go to a controller and test to see if this problem still exist cause I know they have defaults.Let us know what happens.

Bear in mind @beans946 is playing on PC. They may not have a controller and I'm not sure the defaults would necessarily match the console ones if they did?
I just had a bit of a play about with this...
I'm pretty sure that the button used is the one bound to the Accept/Advance option that is the 5th one down in the Menu options category. I can't absolutely confirm it as on my PS5 controller it won't let me assign this to anything else, as I was trying to do to do see if I then had a different button shown when coming into the pits. The only other functions the same button is bound to are Clutch and Gear Up, and changing either of these didn't change the button shown.
Playing about with the OSD customisation I can't personally see a way to make just the button prompt appear/disappear. All I can see is what @ScarDuck14 showed in his photos above, where showing/hiding the Pit Message OSD element affects both the button prompt and the countdown timer elements.

Not 100% if it’s default button to press but I use x to turn in. as I rebind x to bring up mfd instead off upshift: and rebind 🔲 to talk to pit.

My post you first responded to could have been clearer and no offense taken!
